Hanoi Old Quarter Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. We loved our stay at Hanoi Old Quarter Hotel (we even cancelled another booking to stay on as we really enjoyed the hospitality). They made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They walked with us to our taxi and ensured we got on the right taxi as well.

Helen also very kindly assisted us to book our sleeper train and sleeper bus to Sapa on very short notice. They also kept our luggage and allowed us to shower after checking out when we had to wait for the train. Nas and Thanh (floor manager and doorman) also assisted us by booking a taxi to the hotel and helping with our luggage. Really great service.

I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviewers who praised the location, the clean, cozy, and comfortable rooms, and helpfulness of the staff. The whole team went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. One staff member even lent me his own motorbike helmet for the day. But I am especially grateful to Jeff and Doris. They went out of their way to arrange transportation for me and help me exchange currency. They walked with me to locations nearby when I was not confident of my ability to get around. They sent my luggage on ahead to the next hotel, and they helped me plan my various sightseeing trips. But more than that, they are just incredibly friendly people, and fun to talk with. Staff moved us to another room in another hotel so we could check in early (around 9 am). The rooms were supposedly better than the ones we booked so hard to judge entirely.

Location is very good. Very accessible and nearby to a bunch of eateries and cafes and some tourist attractions.
