Melody Home — Hotel in Hà Nội

OK,where to start..guys I'm not a prince in terms of accommodations. I mean,I'm always looking to find something cheap but hey..people have standards here also without spending 100 euro a day in hotels,I was checking for a room in the most central area of Hanoi and booking.com suggested me "Melody house" price was ok but not so cheap,the first reaction that I got when I've arrived was "WTF" the entrance is scaring the shi# out of you..you need to pass through a kitchen with mega smelly vapes,dirt and rats having fun around( one was dead outside so no fun for him) you think things can get only better but when you arrived and see the room you think that not even a dog deserves something like that. OVERALL the owner was really cute and let us flying away without stories. I put 1 star in the location because even if is mega central the actual location is something else. Highly...

We took a "deluxe room" for 2 people, the room literally only fits one bed, without any space at the sides of the bed (4 sq. M max). The entrance to the facility is from the kitchen of a restaurant, than you can access the room from a small public alley shared with other guests from the upper floors. The bathroom should have been private but in reality it is separated from the room, accessible from the same public alley where the room is located. The main problem though is that the room was not very clean and full of dust, so after a few hours we had to leave because we couldnt breathe well. We were allowed to check in early in the morning but its definitely not worth it...

I booked 4 nights at this hotel, it is situated directly above a restaurant and the only entrance is by walking through the alleyway where the restaurant staff are cooking and preparing food. They restaurant staff get extremely angry when you need to walk through to the hotel and sometimes purposely don’t move out the way in the small corridor when you’re trying to pass!!|I understand they’re running a restaurant but they do this even if no one is eating in there.|The smell of food is very strong and there is rats running around downstairs where they prep the food. |The only positive is that the bed is comfy.|There is also a seperate shower with...
