After 10 days in Hoi An and many glasses of coffee of all varieties we found Eco Life Cafe! So glad we had 4days left in Hoi An to go daily. Firstly - the coffee is strong, unsweetened unless requested and fresh. Secondly - the atmosphere is calm, music is soft. Thirdly - the aesthetic is humble and authentic - chairs, tables, planter boxes, shelving, window surrounds and awning are all hand made from recycled beautiful wood. It is beautiful. Fourthly - the prices are so reasonable, it is a cafe both locals and tourists can enjoy equally. Fifth - the coffee and green tea are served in glasses, no plastic in sight! Straws are paper and are served next to the drinks, so one can choose to consume throw aways or not. Finally, the owner / barista, Hūng is such a warm, open, gentle human being, it has been a lovely connecting experience to have met him, albeit briefly. I wish the business well and hope many others get to enjoy what we have whilst in the...
Read moreEco Life Coffee and Bar is a hidden gem on the quieter east side of Hoi An’s busy tourist area — the perfect escape from the overpriced and crowded coffee shops in the center. I found this place through Google’s glowing 5.0-star reviews (300+ and counting), and it absolutely lives up to the hype.
They care deeply about quality — using their own regularly maintained reverse osmosis water filtration system for all drinks, instead of relying on factory ice that can sometimes be questionable. The coffee here is amazing, and the prices are noticeably lower than in the tourist hot spots.
Every cup is made with care. I ordered three iced drinks, and while waiting I was treated to an iced herbal drink and coconut crackers — such a warm and thoughtful touch. The coconut coffee I ordered was spot-on delicious!
If you want quality coffee, friendly service, and a peaceful vibe while supporting a great local business, Eco Life Coffee and Bar is a...
Read moreThis place was just around the corner from our hotel and we basically would get at least one coffee here a day. We tried a bunch of other places in town which were also all very nice but there was something about the chill laid back vibe here, the friendly couple that ran the place and just the little things that kept us coming back.
The coffee itself was delicious at lead the coconut coffee and the regular coffee that we tried. The little coconut crackers that they’d give us with each order was also a nice lovely addition and finally they’re give us some tea while we were waiting for our order which I also really appreciated. All in all highly...
