This review is not really about the hotel (which was alright), but about the visa services they offer. They screwed me and refused to refund me. I had stayed there a few times for a few days each time, and from there moved to Bien Hoa. When i needed to renew my visa, i went there because i ( Thought I-) new them well. The lady who runs the place took a look at my visa, and assured me it could be extended, so I gave her my passport, my phone number, and my current address and email. On the day it was supposed to be back with the extension in it i was ill , so i waited a few days before i'd collect it. When i finally went there, they gave it back tome and told me the immigration department had sent it back without an extension, and i had to do a visa run instead. They had known this for about a week, but they never bothered to contact me, so now I was overstaying my visa at a 10$ a day fine. Because i had to wait until after the weekend for a trip to the Cambodian border, i lost another 2 days. When i showed up for the visa run they booked me on a later bus than we had agreed, so I had to wait for several hours, and they sold me dollars at an exchange rate that was worse than most other places. The visa run was a nightmare, but that was out of there control. When i got back I told them i was forced to pay a fine (+bribe) because of their mistakes, so I demanded they would refund me for the extra costs. They refused to pay, and they also refused to answer any questions. They just laughed. All in all they ripped me off for about 135$ and never took responsibility for their mistakes. Needless to say i'll never set foot in that...
Read moreWe booked an early flight to Phu Quoc ourselves and so wanted to book a taxi in advance to secure our transport there as it was so early in the morning. |We booked a taxi through the hotels desk downstairs. We paid 160'000 VND and were told all we needed was this white receipt. We got given a 'hotline' number to ring if any problems and were assured they would be available at 3:45am. |We waited outside our hotel for 10/15mins with numerous taxis driving past, none of which were picking us up. One driver had a sign 'Saigon Airport' - he said he couldn't take us because we didn't have a voucher. We rang the hotline number more than 5 times and no answer. We were desperate now as to not miss our flight. We paid another 200'000 VND to get to the airport. We managed to ring the hotel and they said you can come back to Saigon and get our money back - them knowing we were going to...
Read moreJune 18 to 21 2018. the rooms do not look like the photos anymore.
450 vnd is not worth it for a balcony room in my opinion. It's low season now.
they did not want to spend the money by turning on the hot water heater. I had to ask them every time I want to take a shower and I had to wait over an hour for hot water and it really wasn't that hot becuz again they are cheap.
Had to ask for my water everyday and fresh towels.
However somebody would come in my room everyday. I know this because when I left in the morning there were no female hairs on my floor and when I got back in the afternoon there were female hairs on my floor what the hell is up with that.
I won't ever come back and stay at this hotel again. You do what...
