We checked in, lasted 30 minutes. It is very cheap which is the main reason for booking. However, unfortunately the room we were assigned was covered in mould and I’m not just talking on the ceiling.. it was all over the curtains, pillows, duvet as well as the walls. For anyone with breathing difficulties I would not recommend booking here, regardless of the price. I have stayed in various places all over Asia for the same price which of course there is always small issues, but nothing hazardous to health. With that being said I would like to say that the people on reception are very nice, warming and welcoming people. This is not a negative reflection on them, just the rooms in the hotel. I do not recommend Firona Fly Hotel. ❌ We had a very disappointing and disturbing experience during our stay. While we were downstairs having breakfast, someone entered our locked hotel room and stole 1,000,000 VND from my wallet, which I had accidentally left on the table inside the room. I am 100% sure of the amount I had before we left. This is clearly an inside job, as only hotel staff would have access to our room while we were away.😡
When we raised the issue with the hotel, there was no CCTV in the hallways and no helpful response or accountability. We are now left with no choice but to report this incident to the police.

We had a great stay at Firona Fly. The accommodation was comfortable, and our room was spacious, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed. 💯
The breakfast was simple but good, fresh coffee and a tasty sandwich to start the day. They also offer laundry services, which was really convenient.
One thing to note is that the room didn’t have AC, but since it’s cold in Sapa, it wasn’t needed anyway. The only downside was the weak WiFi connection, which could be improved.
