Sapa House Hotel — Hotel in Sa Pa Ward

Cockroaches in the rooms! After a long drive we arrived here very tired. In the first room on floor 6 we had two big black cockroaches in the bathroom, so we got another room on floor 5. All seemed fine but when we came back from dinner another one of those greeted us and run under the blue sofa. The owner, Mai, was very friendly and apologized. We told her that we won't stay and she offered us to stay in her sisters hotel "Symphony", just to discover that there are cockroaches too... We didn't see them until the second night so we spend two nights at the Symphony Hotel... For the inconveniences of the first night we got a 30% discount for that day...

we liked the design of the rooms the view on the town from floor 6 is nice +the beds seemed very comfy (even though we didn't sleep here) +staff was very attentive

-not very well cleaned -doesn't look like on the pictures -most pictures here in Google don't show the hotel!

I loved my stay at Sapa House and stayed an extra night than originally planned because I liked it so much. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous with a view of the city and the mountains. I loved sitting on the mini couch looking out at the view. It was quite cold when I was there and it was great to have a heater in the room. The bed was super comfortable with a nice cosy duvet and the bathroom was clean and modern and the shower was hot and had good pressure. It was about a 7 minute walk into town where all the shops and restaurants were. It is up a bit of a hill but it was nice to be higher up to get the great views. The meals in the restaurant were really good and the portions were huge. I have been travelling since the middle of December and Sapa House has been my favourite...

Truly wonderful service and food that felt like home

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to this time. From the minute I checked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming—kind, attentive, and always ready to help without being overbearing. It really felt like they cared, which is rare these days.

The food was honestly one of the best parts of my stay. Every meal felt home-cooked—fresh, comforting, and full of flavour, just like something your mum would make. You can tell there’s love and attention put into every dish, not just something churned out of a kitchen.

I want to give a big thank you to the entire team—your warmth and genuine hospitality made such a difference. This place doesn’t just offer a bed and meals; it offers a feeling. I’ll definitely be...
