Dropped into boutique yesterday looking for jeans. I'm a 57 year old woman who knows her style and what I like. I was continually annoyed by young sales assistant {who was polite} who kept thrusting blouses at me which I continually politely turned down thanking her. Arrived in changeroom only to be told there was a blouse in there for me to try on with my jeans...I was already wearing a beautiful blouse and did not need another! I think I had 5 blouses shoved ever so politely in my face in a matter of 3 or 4 minutes... so frustrating! The jeans were gorgeous, they were Slvrlake. I'd made up my mind I wasn't going to purchase in store due to the persistent attempt to "upsell" and found them online direct from the label itself for a price far cheaper than the $625 Samantha Ogilvie was selling them for even after the conversion rate.
