Located on The Upper Esplanade, St Kilda, Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺 I have been about 3 or 4 times to these markets. I love them 😍. Every time I come to Melbourne, I never fail to come here. I always love the great range of handcrafted souvenirs, gifts, arts, clothing and other items. The market is held every Sunday from 10.00am. There’s always something new to look at. The markets has been running since 1970 . There’s some food trucks to grab something to eat and drink. It’s not really a large market but it’s still nice to come have a look if you’re coming to St Kilda. There’s a direct tram ride (No 16 or 96 tram) from Melbourne CBD to get to the market. It takes about 15 -20 minutes. Very easy. The views over the ocean are amazing. You can also walk around to the shops where there’s some really nice shops and if you want a nice meal, there’s plenty of places to pick from. If you wanted, you could take a walk along the beach and to the wharf. It’s a really cool walk. Overall, I really like these markets, always makes for a great day in St Kilda. A big Thumbs...

Honestly not a lot of interesting stuff here. I mean, plenty of stalls in terms of numbers, but the sellers/exhibitors aren't overly interesting. It would've been nice if the stall holders were more engaged, too.

To be fair, it was the afternoon on a very cold day, so rugging up is expected, but it's a little weird to be sitting in the back of your marquee and knitting while potential customers are physically picking up and looking at your stuff.

There are many far better markets in Melbourne,...

Nice morning stroll and a walk up the pier. Online it says up to 200 stalls but there are barely a quarter of that. However there are still some interesting vendors, from olive oils and craft ciders to artwork, jewellery and a lovely lady who makes gorgeous dog collars and handmade toys. Recommended in conjunction with other things like a stop for lunch and a few drinks, or a trip to Luna Park, but not something substantial enough to do as a stand alone if you're visiting from more than a couple of...

We took a morning walk at St Kilda beach on the 9th day of our Melbourne vacation and noticed that the iconic St Kilda Pier is closed for renovation and upgrading. After that we visited the weekend market. The scale of the market seems to have gotten smaller than I used to know with more food stalls and lesser artwork and handcrafted items stalls. Nevertheless, it is still a fun place to visit during the weekend.

Lovely little Sunday market offering a whole range of tasty treats and homely gifts. Bustling atmosphere We treated ourselves to some Dutch pancakes with Nutella and sugar icing from Naval’s, before wondering past all the gift stalls and eyeing up some items for our new flat! Would recommend a visit here and then a wonder down to the beach.
