We arrived at 12:31 AM and were met with a packed house—super crowded, but luckily we grabbed one of the last available tables. Our food came out around 12:50 AM, and wow, it was worth the wait.
I ordered three dishes and all of them delivered:
✦ Garlic Soy Chicken: This was the star. Crispy skin with a sticky sweet-savory glaze, yet the inside stayed unbelievably tender. Not too greasy either. I kept reaching for another piece!
✦ Jeyuk Bokkeum (spicy pork): Sliced thin so it was easy to eat, and not chewy at all. The spice level was just right—enough to tingle the tongue without overwhelming it. It had that bold, gochujang flavour that clings to rice perfectly.
✦ Sundubu-jjigae: The spicy soft tofu soup came with prawn, veggies, and a cracked egg. The broth was light but flavourful—not overly spicy—and had that homestyle comfort that warms you from the inside. I loved dunking my rice into the broth.
Everything came with a generous bowl of rice and a full tray of banchan (side dishes), which made the meal even more satisfying. It really felt like a complete Korean dining experience, even at almost 1am!

Read moreYo I don’t know who we’re complaining about the portion size because I trusted them and now me and my sister have our next meal in a takeaway container.
The food here is BUSSIN. The garlic chicken? Amazing, and that’s from someone that hate garlic, I don’t know how they do it. The japchae? Love it. And that’s all I ordered cause it’s so much! The sides are nice too. Idk I might be rambling cause I’m from Melbourne and food there just weren’t as good I guess? Anyway, I’m very happy with my visit.
The place is rather understaffed. This place does get busy and the staff might not be able to be super attentive due to the amount of tasks they have to do. However the service was fast and efficient. The food come really quickly too.
My only warning is that the environment is loud and busy which can be overstimulating for people with anxiety, autism, or people who just don’t like loud places. If you come here late, the place is next to Thai restaurant that play really loud live music and this place plays equally loud Kpop to fight back. If this is not your concern I definitely recommend you give this...
Read moreThis was our first experience in a Korean restaurant, and what a good experience it was.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which made us feel at ease. Kudos to the staff today (midday -27th Jan 2024).
As for the food, again, this was our first experience trying Korean food and it did not disappoint. A great opener to broadening our culinary tastebuds.
We were provided with complimentary dishes (even received a top up). Our favourite was the potato side dish. We tried the teriyaki chicken donburi -which the chicken was so tender and nice. It was the highlight of our dishes. We also brought the fried chicken. These were super crunchie. It wasn't too overly saturated with oil, so none of the chicken went soggy. I highly recommend the fried chicken dishes with any main meal. Lastly was the bacon and beef pancake (so sorry forgot the name), and was surprisingly very tasty.
I already recommend to my friends if they too wanted to try something new, as this was a quiet and pleasant experience at this restaurant.
Thank...
