I visited the place just recently. The worst service experience in my life. The girl who served her name was âMEHEKâ as she said. Never had such a pathetic behaviour/ gesture from a service employee. We were deciding on our menu and I asked her if there is any deal with 2 naan and 1 curry. She answered in a word ânoâ. There was no upselling or convincing the customer - you may try this or that. Anyway initially my husband ordered a beef curry, I apologised and asked her if I could change it to a different one. She changed that. We asked her if we could get âgarlic naanâ she said 5 something, my husband heard it as $5 dollar. It was hard to hear her as she proceeded to the checkout and was far from where we stood. Anyway, my husband heard it as $5 dollar instead of 5 min. So he simply asked, but it says $3.50 here. She screamed from her place â5minâ garlic naan is $3.90. We asked her we are happy to wait 5 min and have garlic naan. She had the plain naan served on a plate, she threw it to the food corner and showed a pathetic gesture. We didnât say anything we simply kept waiting for our food. When food was ready to be served she rolled her eyes to my husband and showed with the gesture to get the food from the table. She didnât even give us a tray, and just look back. I was stunned. My husband took the food from the table, the girl didnât even say thank you or anything and when I looked at her she kept staring at me. Such a pathetic behaviour. I went back to her when there was no customer. I asked her why would she do that ? She replied in an arrogant manner, âbcz I was angryâ I asked if I could see the manager. She stated herself as manager. Well if she is the manager, good luck to all the customers, such a pathetic service and gesture even though she was wrong , she kept arguing with that disgraceful attitude. I am just speechless. Never coming back or suggesting anyone to go there to waste your money on...
Read moreHonestly can say I have no problem at all with either the service, food, or attitudes of employees. To Mrs.Khadija Khatun, I actually witnessed the ending of the conversation between you two, and needless to say there is nothing nice I have to say between your interaction, keyword your, as she couldn't even get a word in as you were shouting at her. This employee provides exceptional service with my experience with her. I will say this though, although you may have had a totally different experience, doesn't justify the manner in which you were speaking to her in no way, shape, or form.
I want to also empathise with your perception of the situation, as you felt you were not communicated to in the way you expected, and maybe you weren't even having a great day as well, but just because you were having a bad day doesn't mean you should project that onto others. It was honestly quite sad to see such attitude and behaviour from a woman older than that young lady. This is not how women treat women. I hope you see this and learn how to treat that lovely lady and people in this industry with more grace!
P.s, do not slander a business that you enjoy food from, next time just don't come back and above all, don't leave such a...
Read moreAs an Uber delivery rider, I recently had a very disappointing experience at Curry Karma with one of the stuff her name is Meher from India. The young lady at the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I arrived to collect the food, she insisted I confirm the order before she even packed it and handed it over. This is highly unusual and inefficient, as it is impossible to confirm the food properly without first receiving it.
When I politely requested that she hand over the food first so I could ensure accuracy, her behavior became even more unpleasant. Her tone was dismissive, and she treated me with unnecessary hostility.
As a delivery partner, I deal with numerous restaurants daily, and I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior. This kind of attitude not only wastes time but also reflects poorly on the restaurant's reputation. I would urge the management to train staff on basic courtesy and respect for delivery riders who are simply doing their job. This was a frustrating and...
