Classical Concerts in St Anne’s Church(Annakirche) in Vienna — Local services in Vienna

St. Anne's is one of the churches around the Historic Centre of Vienna that offers evening concerts for interested visitors. We attended their regular Mozart & Beethoven concert (€29 per person) and very much enjoyed the performance.

Acoustics are quite good in the small church and your eyes certainly have plenty to enjoy when it comes to the beautiful Baroque interior of this venue. In addition to the fine quality of play, we very much enjoyed viewing the ornately decorated throughout the hour long concert.

Note: Tickets can be purchased online if you want to ensure you are able to attend concert on particular evenings. Otherwise, you may be able to secure tickets after arriving in Vienna as well.

Note: Entrance is half an hour before performance time. Seating in the small hall is on a first-come, first-serve basis so best to arrive early if you want seat nearer...

A wonderful evening spent with friends listening to and enjoying classical music. The church (Kirche) is beautiful inside--my description would not do it justice. The very talented musicians are awesome. Three violinists and a cellist. The concert began at 8PM (2000) sharp and lasted 1hr10min. A full house (full church) by concert start time. Suggest you arrive 45 min. early for the best seats (up front). The cushioned chairs located on both sides of the pews are more comfortable than the straight back pews. Talented musicians, nothing but good things to say about this part. It was beautiful and moving. About the experience itself: the church is a bit cold, and the whole experience is very "low budget", so be aware. It's a small space, but good sound, not too crowded on my visit (March). The outside of the church is not nice but the inside is. Overall good experience for what we were looking for. Wanted to spend a little less and didn't want a long show. 1h is enough classical music for me, so that's why I chose this one. It was great for me.
