The staff at Marina Pizza are great; very enthusiastic and happy to assist in any way that they can. Each time I walked into the pizzeria, everyone had a smile on their faces and appeared happy to be there. This review is not a reflection of the staff but of the business itself, mainly the prices and the options. We do not eat dairy and typically enjoy our pizzas with dairy free cheeses or no cheese at all. The staff informed us that they do NOT have any dairy free options here, however the dough and all vegetable ingredients are all dairy free and they were happy to assist in creating a pizza that we could enjoy. The computer system and business itself did not have a way to make this happy, however it was the staff that went above and beyond to find a way to do it. In the end, we paid $50 USD for a pizza with just vegetables on it, and this was only made possible because the two employees at the front were understanding of our dietary restrictions because they themselves also had the same restrictions. Each of their salad dressings have dairy in them, making the salads impossible to order or eat if you have this restriction. This pizzeria is definitely not friendly to those with dietary restrictions, and is extremely expensive for the simple food...
Read moreSo Marina Pizza was not the best experience. The wait can be insanely long. On the night we went the line was out the door and down the marina. I ended up going to seafire steakhouse, eating dinner and then returned to marina pizza around 9.30 to bring pizza back for one of the kids. By now the line was shorter and fully contained within the building. It still took almost an hour to get two slices of pizza. When we finally made it to the counter, the clerk handed me a box with two slice that looked like they had been sitting out all night. I handed the box right back and he threw it directly in the trash without even looking because he knew that those slices should never have been served. Unfortunately, they were not keeping the oven full even though there were plenty of staff members to do so. We paid for the slices and had to wait for a fresh pizza to come out of the oven. This time the clerk handed the fresh slices to a pretty woman standing in front if the counter. After almost an hour I got the coveted pizza and headed back to the hotel room. Growing up in the NY metro area, we love good pizza. I am not even sure this greasy mess would have qualified as pizza. I gave them 2 stars because we...
Read moreI forgot to take photos! My husband and I wanted a small lunch so we decided to split a slice of pizza and a salad. We got the large Greek Salad. It was very large - plenty to share. It had fresh romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, red and green peppers, feta and lots of black olives. The only thing it didn’t have was cucumber! (Note to restaurant- the main ingredient in an authentic Greek salad is cucumber!) The dressing was packaged but surprisingly flavorful.
We ordered the Greek white pizza. It also was huge. (We’re talking Costco pizza slice big!). It was excellent! Feta mixed with another cheese (maybe Fontana?) with red onions, spinach, green and red peppers and mushrooms (which were a very pleasant surprise). Very garlicky and the crust was perfect - not too thick, not too thin. For an Atlantis restaurant, it was fairly reasonably price ($10 salad, $7 slice) (2023). It’s just a takeout place but outside seating overlooks the incredible Atlantis Marina and all of the gorgeous, glamorous yachts. The service was nice...
