To Whom it may concern - CC: TTC CEO Yesterday, I boarded the train back home to Kipling from Bay... It was jam packed and I barely got a squeeze in... With my shopping buggy and all my belongings I saw a seat vacant opposite to the conductor room so I went and sat there... While riding another TTC staff came up to me and said "You Can't Sit There" X2 So I was trying to grab all my things to get up when the conductor ran out of his little room he's in and also shouted "You can't sit there!!!" X4... So wondering first of all why were seats even there, if I can't sit there??? The yellow guard was unattached on the floor... Furthermore the train was packed!!! Where am I supposed to go with all my things??? Put them on my head and fall down on everyone at every stop??? I just came off the train at Spadina since I seemed to be a problem on that train whereas I didn't do nothing but just sit down!!! I told the Conductor while he was looking out "You should get more trains" He said for me to speak to the highest authority on this so the reason I'm leaving this Review here... First of all I must say I was downtown doing business so I was well dressed in a suit, hair highlights and dress shoes etc... I need a form of respect as a female also how professional and presentable I looked... Why didn't the TTC staff address me "Madam, I'm sorry but you can't sit here due to technical issues we are facing... If you like you can board the next train since this one is so packed... Sorry for any inconveniences." That's etiquette... That's how someone especially a male is supposed to address and speak to a female... Imagine if I was a tourist here for Summer Vacation and faced these kind of insults??? It really wouldn't look good on Canada!!! Furthermore ever weekend I noticed the TTC is having some kinda issues with the subway train line and was shocked to learn they only have 2 trains working underground with all of this population explosion going on in Toronto... They can learn to work the graveyard shift when TTC is not functioning and fix the trains or tracks or whatsoever between 2am-6am like everyone else who works that shift... Or get robots to fill these positions... Please don't inconvenience your customers time... Also - What is TTC doing with all their money they make on a daily basis??? To pay and pamper employees when their staff also does not have respect for their riders/customers??? Get more trains from Kipling to Kennedy... Poor trains... They overwork them and expect for them to perform well... I'm so glad I'm done with retail and volunteering for the City which would do the same to their volunteers/staff... Get more trains! Furthermore, I've been using the regular TTC bus on and off since 2012 and no improvements The drivers don't respect the passengers and have fine signs placed if you only tell them a little hard word??? WOW!!! They can see you coming and they would just pass you by - Do you know if I have a foot problem or something? Not all disabilities can be seen... And tell men to be gentlemen and offer their seats to seniors, don't look at other women who worked 8 hours and have soar feet... This does not involve equality... Men and women are built differently to do different things like heavy lifting for men and child baring for women... Let men learn to have some respect and be gentlemen as they once were in the 1920s... Open a door for a woman, offer your seat, speak nice... Remember a woman created you... I believe the TTC has a long way to go as they seem to lack etiquette and engage in the same "Zoo like" behavior... Also one more thing I must add when people are sitting on the bus they don't need someone else to sit right behind them talking in their dialect very loudly over their heads or phone... I understand theirs a Charter of rights that covers language rights but this doesn't mean to speak loudly and even confuse the driver at times... Some signs should be made concerning this as well and let's learn to respect each other and move forward positively Kindest Regards Miss Ebony Narpatty...

Read moreThis line 2 station serves the area around yourkville village and it is utilized by some of the University of Toronto students. The station is a bit dated and has a central island platform surrounded by the west and east bound tracks. From the east end of the platform you can connect via underground pathways all the way to young and bloor station. The journey is not as glamorous as the one done inside the Path system in the central business district, but never the less can facilitate the walk during less than...
