Waterpark Place - Lot #537 — Local services in Toronto

We parked here for our Good Friday's Toronto Island trip. It was close by to Ferry point. It says $25 Day Max 6am-6pm. We thought it is costly but with small kids we were ok to pay it. BUT BUT they charged us $47 because our parking extended beyond 6pm to 7:30pm , so they charged us $22 extra. What bullshit is this. They should have charged us based on some per hour basis. You can't charge us whole $22 (rate for 6pm to 6am). You can't apply charges for both day and night to a person who parked there from 12 noon to 7:30 unaware of your shoddy business practices. We were not alone there were other families also looted in same way. I have no issue paying for extra hours i parked there. But it was nowhere clearly mentioned that you will charge for 12 hours if it gets extended by an hour. Kindly refund the money you...

If you want to visit Toronto Island you have to have a note of this parking place for sure. It’s ample in place, close enough to Toronto island start place where if you have kids or elderly people, it’s just few steps and you reach the start of the Toronto island. So comfortable, easy, and even at rate wise this rate on the weekends goes to just $15 until parked for 3hrs or so but it’s way more cheaper than other parking lots in...

How do these people get away with over charge for parking. The car never moved but yet we were charged $25.00 plus an additional $22.00. We parked here with the impression that the MAX day charge was $25.00. Little did we know that we would be slapped with an additional charge just being there after 6pm.
