The Love Park was built during the pandemic and took 2 years to complete. The area used to be the off ramp of the Gardiner Express Highway. It features a red heart shape pond. Within the centre of it is a large tree on an island. It is close proximity to the Harbourfront Centre, Queen’s Quay, Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and RBC Waterpark Place.

There are no washroom facilities on site but there are benches to sit, several tables and chairs to lounge. There is even a little area for the dogs to be unleashed.

Around this park, there are 9 bronze animal statues to seek out. It’s hard to locate all of them if there are a lot of people around. Beaver, squirrel, owl, bird, raccoon, bear, bunny, and one more animal. The fox is a hit with the little ones because they love to sit on it.

Apparently, the Berzcy Dog Park and the Love Park are related. Both parks are similar in design. People can gather, sit, walk their dogs, and people watch. The Love Park has 9 animals while the Berzcy Park features 27 statues of dogs and a lone cat. The key difference between the two is the water fountain feature at the...

Loved it! This is my favorite park in the City of Toronto. Downtown Toronto's only public water access (Ontario Place) is being leased to a private foreign corporation for 95 years. Toronto's only other water access, the Natrel Pond, where you used to be able to rent canoes for paddling, etc., has also been filled in. So now Love Park is home to our last remaining public recreational water access that is accessible. I have a back injury and my doctors suggested water-walking which has greatly helped me in spinal rehab., so I try to walk-on-water 2 or 3 times a week, and Love Park is the last remaining place that's easy to access recreational water. The giant heart-shaped fountain is big enough for the purpose. And what's there to not love about being inside a ball in a heart-shaped fountain surrounded by weeping...

I wholeheartedly show my Love and support for Toronto's newest park... Love Park! Located at York Street and Lakeshore area.

If you're from out of town take note

Toronto has been awarded the top prize for Municipal Planning in North America! Consecutively now for 2 years 😮

Our transit system the TTC has enjoyed the honour of being awarded "Top transit agency in North America."

Well... sadly... we have lost this title. But It still lives on in the hearts of minds of all Torontonians.

And take it from me.. a local tour guide....You'll have no problems getting to Toronto's newest park! Love Park!

Remember to tell all your friends and loved ones when you...

Love Park in Toronto Downtown is a charming urban oasis that stands out with its lush greenery and vibrant design. Located near the waterfront, the park features beautifully landscaped gardens, winding pathways, and a striking heart-shaped pond. It provides a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle, making it perfect for leisurely strolls or quiet reflection. The park's contemporary art installations and seating areas invite visitors to relax and soak in the surroundings. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Love Park offers a refreshing and picturesque retreat in the heart of Toronto.
