How not to treat your clients 101:

I started the process of selling a Leaf license back 9 months ago. The paperwork was completed after 8 months. The license rep, Marley said on Apr 4th, that I'd see the money with 7-14 days.

I sent another email to, her on Apr 19th. She replied that, she would "nudge" it through.

I received an email that same day from the dept that issues payments. Said my funds were being issued.

Messaged her again on, the 26th of April. Reply "our finance team is working as quickly as possible to get the payment sent"

April 29th today.... Still nothing. Seller definitely BEWARE when selling, your license through MLSE license hub.

Last week, I was told by Brad Bogardis, head of secondary ticketing at MLSE that, I wouldn't be allowed my Raptors or Maple Leaf playoff tickets because "I had missed the op-in deadline"

Imagine paying for a license, whatever amount that may be as your investment, and having someone like Brad tell you what, you can and cannot do with it. So I'd definitely say buyer beware before buying any license from MLSE in the future!

After contacting a few of other season ticket owners, I know, I found out that they also missed the opt-in deadline. And were however, given alternative tickets for the playoffs after complaining. BUT why not, me though?

You see, I actually pay more than anyone else for my season tickets because, Brad Bogardis and MLSE have partnered up with Ticketmaster and Live Nation, to essentially eliminate all competition and push a monopoly on entertainment in and around, Toronto. And so, they came up with a "reseller account" which is where those who, they suspect reseller their tickets for a profit, are penalized.... discrimination at it's finest. Ticketmaster offers resale tickets for all MLSE events. MLSE condones Ticketmaster reselling tickets, but penalizes others for doing it themselves.

Have you heard about the limited time to transfer your tickets for Raptors and Leafs?

Yep... that's right! You pay what, $100, $500, $10,000 for a pair of tickets to see your team.... Then for whatever reason you find out last minute that, you cannot go... if you do not send your tickets within 30 minutes after the game starts, MLSE/ Ticketmaster (who is really running the show there) prohibits you from transferring out the tickets to another user...... Ultimately making it so, those tickets go to complete waste and forcing you to buy tickets again from them.....

Just print the ticket, you say? Nope! No more printed tickets... Because of covid! Even though, they have staff standing there scanning the digital ticket from your phone... Not because of covid actually.. But to gain more information and solicit you and wherever, those tickets are transferred to by email.

Truth be known, since Ticketmaster took over, MLSE's ticketing, The Leafs, who sold out the building for 50 years straight (Gardens and ACC) can't even sell out 5 regular season games a year.... Lots of guys and girls trying to create work for themselves... Hiding behind some kind of good guy mask... and at the end of the day, they don't care 1 iota about, your experience with them...

Why don't the Leafs sell out games anymore? You'd think that with, the best team they've iced in the past 60 years, that would be a sure thing, right?

Nah... They are the most overpriced tickets on, the planet... $170 for an upper level ticket vs Florida on a Tuesday? $350 for a gold ticket against, Minnesota on a Monday?

None the less, as I've heard a lot over the past few years specially, there is no customer service left in their building. Terrible to the point of reference to, Rogers and...

The only issue I have is that the leafs lose every year 😭

Definitely a fun spot to enjoy the games at with friends and hundreds/thousands of other fans. They made us throw out water bottles which was a bit annoying, so I recommend you dont take food or water in. A lot of people were just smoking and vaping too. Other than that, the experience is definitely...
