The overwhelming low rated reviews Wilfred Eaton Centre has is a realistic reflection of the employees behaviours. Specifically self identified store manager Muneer assigned cashier #143711. Muneer is an aggressive unqualified person who is unfit for customer service roles let alone a management role. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Muneer twice. Both times she escalated to aggression. What started this was, Muneer took my paid merchandise from me and then tried to withhold my receipt from me and this was after she slammed the scanner aggressively infront of me. After complaining to the Aritzia Concierge and requesting a refund they instructed me (in accordance with their policy) I would have to go back to that exact location to receive a refund. In an email Aritzia concierge wrote to me the associates would have the details of my previous visit and would provide me with my refund and I could show them the email as confirmation. When I came back Muneer was the one at the cash. She was again hostile because she had been made aware of my complaint but the lack of professionalism was continuous. When I showed her the email she lunged at me trying to take my phone from me accusing me of video taping her when I was just showing her the email provided by the Aritzia Concierge. Muneer than ran off and went to the back and kept opening the door very slightly to stare at me while on the phone. It was really odd behaviour on her part and showed her immature antagonistic behaviour even in her role as a manager. She was doing everything in her power to not give me my refund even if that meant resorting to throwing a tantrum and not doing her job. Her fellow coworkers enabled this behaviour by deserting the cash register and gossiping on the side. Eventually another self proclaimed manager Clarissa cashier id #111188 came out and asked me if I knew where my paid merchandise was. It was an illogical unhelpful question and a far different response than the Aritzia’s Concierge confirmation email. It also put the responsibility of the refund on me even thought Muneer who was opening the door a crack to stare at me was right there and could give the details on where she put my paid merchandise after she took it from me initially. After a long stressful pointless hour of harassment and discrimination from these employees I received my refund. The employees were intentionally escalating the situation to cause enough of a disturbance so that I’d leave and not get my refund. Aritzia Concierge did not care nor listen when I told them the first time I did not feel safe returning to that store and they assured me that I would be able to get my refund without a repeat of this intial experience. That was not the case, and considering Muneer’s continuous agression and ganging up from the other employees particularly manager Clarissa, Aritzia Concierge did not take my feedback seriously. Clarissa also found amusement and joy in this situation, smiling and laughing at me while taking her sweet time to refund the merchandise that was taken from me. Unsurprisingly Clarissa never presented the sweater, safe to assume they had already sold it but were trying to keep my money hence the questioning of where is the sweater. Aritzia does not take any feedback seriously despite the numerous reviews echoing similar concerns about alarmingly poor customer service at Wilfred Eaton Centre. These employees have a bad attitude but blatantly disregarding the law crosses...
Read moreTruthfully, if I could give this location a 0 star I would… Last time I was there and I handed over an Aritzia receipt, the girl asked me if “I had an authentic Aritzia receipt.” Not sure what that means and or what she was implying, but it was definitely discriminatory, Unethical, And extremely biased. The receipt in fact was a genuine authentic purchase receipt so I’m still unsure as to why we had a back-and-forth about that receipt in which she refused to refund my product for a little bit… I called head office to explain the situation and complain and as expected, they did nothing about it. No compensation for my wasted time, no compensation for the embarrassing moment that was caused in store with other customers watching, the And no compensation for the terrible treatment and discrimination! Especially at that location, the girls literally make it a personality trait to work at aritzia / Wilfred. It’s literally their entire personality to be rude, mean, and clearly discriminatory for no real reason. I spend thousands of dollars at aritzia yearly. I am on their clientele list as well, And this poor poor treatment was so inappropriate And didn’t even have to occur. When faced with this question, I mentioned to the employee that it is an authentic receipt, and if she scans it, she can see which caused a big dilemma for some reason, having her explain to me how she knows how her system works etc…. Expected so much more from a company that’s trying so hard to...
Read moreMy interaction with Fareeha today was incredibly disappointing. She was extremely unprofessional, and quite frankly rude. The plethora of negative reviews under this particular store also seems to reflect an ongoing issue with her incompetence as a manager.
I came here a few hours ago to return a vest, in unworn perfect condition. I did not remove any of the tags. When I tried to return it, Fareeha accused me of tampering with the item because they "don't pin their clothes like that" and they "use a different pin" (I've included a picture below). This was despite the fact that the racks in-store contained items pinned in exactly the same manner - with the identical black safety pin and this is how the vest came when I purchased it. She refused the return and told me I had to return it at the same location I purchased it at, despite Wilfred's return policy stating you can return items at any location. I found her condescending acccusations not only baseless but also insulting.
I walked across the Eaton Centre to the Aritzia store and returned it with zero hassle, because the item was actually in original,...
