I should have read all the negative comments on all the EasyPark locations in Vancouver before coming to this lovely City as a tourist. This comment is actually for EasyPark Lot 21, which is across the streat, but Lot 21 is marked as closed for business. Well, it is not, and you can use parts of the North Eastern corner for parking. Which we (family of 5) did. We paid for a ticket until 6 PM, I put the ticket stub in the window and then we did the tourist thing and discovered that Vancouver is absolutely nice and great. We absolutely loved the parks and well, I admit, we did not make it back on time. At the time, I thought nothing on it, as there was no warnings or such to be back on time. I was under the impression, that if we come back a little later, we simply pay the overtime and head our way. With three kids, we made it back at 7:18PM and we disovered that we had already gotten a violation ticket for 82 (!!!!!) $. It says a lot about a Company if its website basically is nothing else than an appeals form. Must be for the amount of appeals. First appeal: No reaction, second appeal: Short reaction, basically: PAY! Funny side note: The payment process for credit cards does not allow the entry of NON-US/Canadian credit cards. So as a foreign tourist.... your screwed.... Anyhow - it pays to check the comments before parking, but since apparently ALL parking lots in Vancouver are from this company.... no parking in the city.....
We had a great vacation, we had a good time in Vancouver, but guess what the first thing is that comes into my mind now when thinking about this city? Its...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience at this parking lot. We arrived at Easy Park on Dec 18th at 6:30 pm to find parking to attend the Premiere of the RBC Nutcracker Ballet which started at 7 pm. There was no sign at the entrance that the lot was already full and no attendant was present. We entered with other cars and got stuck in the parking lot for 25 minutes. I got "lucky" upon trying to exit and spotted someone leaving. We parked the car and ran upstairs not to miss the "call". When the intermission came, I ran downstairs to purchase the "event" parking ticket which was $18. Upon coming back to the car, we received a parking violation ticket in the amount of $85 that was issued a minute after we exited the car at 6:58 pm. I submitted the complaint and was denied. They are not refunding us the event parking ticket that we purchased and we have to pay the $85 fine. Beware when parking at their lots. Shame on...
Read moreI don’t know why two of designated accessible spots in this expensive Easy Park Lot 129 Queen Elizabeth Theatre underground parking lot were blocked off with cones and two were reserved for staff only but when I had to make several phone calls to get the elevator turned on it triggered memories from a few months ago when I waited alone at P2 for over 30 minutes in this almost deserted parking lot only to have the head of the QET security come down the stairs to tell me that the elevator was out of order and that I’d have to take my manual wheelchair up the ramps to get out to...
