I ordered the special combo of 1 medium pizza with 3 toppings, hot wings and 2 pop. Thought the price was good. First time trying this place. The European older gentleman seems like a nice guy. Sadly, the first alarm was seeing the old pizzas on the counter and an empty pizza shop with no customers. If I was going to order a slice I definitely would've walked out like 4 people did immediately prior to me without ordering. The pizza came straight out of the oven but was like cardboard when I ate it immediately afterwards in my car. The sauce was minimal, very small amount of cheese and taste was barely acceptable. I ate half the pizza while driving and still have the rest. The hot wings tasted extremely salty, old and redone. I ate 1.5 wings and still have the rest. The only good thing was the 2 pop. Zero chance of repeat and strong warning against. I should actually call Coastal health about them keeping their slice pizzas too long for the public. How do they stay alive there with so much competition in that area? I wanted to try them out because of their pricing for specials and so I thought great reviews. Their reviews led me astray to sub par pizza and awful, old chicken wings. Did the previous reviewers try the same place or are they friends of the owner? Perhaps the owner made special pizzas for them and sub par pizzas for special combo orders? Nevertheless the pizza and wings compelled me to write this review. Good luck if you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe old lady here is an absolute nightmare do NOT come to this location. Was looking forward to the pizza being like the one on commercial drive and it was, except when I asked a question about whether or not there was pesto on the sun dried tomato pizza due to an allergy, she scolded me and said ādoes it look like there is any pestoā in such a rude tone, I thought ok off to a bad start but Iāll let it pass. After paying for my two slices of pizza I asked why the advertisement outside lists the pizza as cheaper? Another lady in the store told me they havnt updated the sign for a few years, honestly not a big deal but it still seemed quite a lot higher than normal pizza in the area. The old lady then scolded me again saying she charged me 50 cents for a box I never asked for? And told me itās MY fault for not saying no box. Who actually asks for a box for two slices of pizza? Makes no sense. How was I supposed to know I was getting charged for a box. I let her keep the money and told her I donāt need a box but it was absolutely insane how rude she was for a customer inquiring about a slice of pizza. She needs to retire. Clearly way too grouchy to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery good pizza, very nice owner who stepped up when I had an order issue. They fixed the problem and made a delicious pizza. A pleasant hidden surprise in a neighborhood flooded with "just okay" pizzas The good: sauce makes the pizza and they know how to make a good pie. In-house slice has generous toppings and good value. You will like what you buy. I recommend this is a good place to order in person versus delivery, say, to pick up on your way home. Friendly service, too. The challenges: website needs a fix regarding delivery as it didn't recognize my address and navigating for pick-up was a bit frustrating. The owner knows this so I trust this will be fixed; please give them time. Communication needs work; for example, they don't identify themselves (just saying hello versus saying "hi, 4 brothers pizza") so you wonder for a moment if you have the right number. They need to ensure whoever answers to have the communication skills to answer questions when the owner isn't there. It's a small family business you want to succeed and support, and I hope people in the West End give it a chance because the product is...
