30 topping choices- be your own pizza artist! They stretch the crust in front of you and create a list of classics that you modify by adding or removing toppings. 90 seconds of baking in a scorching oven, and you’ve got a lovely 6 slice Neapolitan pie for C$12. Enough for 2 to share with one of their salads (also C$10-12). The bowls the salads are made in are a beautiful presentation. These can also be customized as they build, for an extra $2. (Vegan sausage or ‘chick-n’ taste good on hot pizzas, not so great raw in salads). 3 vegan pizzas will delight foodies, I prefer the stretch of shredded mozzarella and fior de latte. If you’re dining solo, they will make a personal size with a small salad for a combo price, and they also have deals including a discounted cinema ticket. Friendly staff seems to change often, mostly foreign students who are eager to please, but sometimes English is not their first language. a little patience goes a long way in co-creating a dining masterpiece. Wine choices are good, but combining red with white in the flights of 3 is sacrilege. The pour could be a little more generous, and the glass is designed more for surviving commercial dishwashing than wine enjoyment. The serve yourself soda machine is one of my favourite features, you can combine flavours and make your own ‘Arnold Palmer™️’ (iced tea/lemonade mix), a tall plastic tumbler for under $3 (refills were allowed on my last visit). They carry the pizza to your table where the number the cashier has provided is displayed. Full selection of condiments including chilli oil, grated parmesan, and oregano are at the cutlery stand. It gets supper busy at peak lunch and dinner times, so come 15 minutes early to allow for a lineup. A great concept that is a lovely addition to the neighbourhood, but not quite as authentic as Pacifico, Nook or Novo if you feel like travelling. Certainly 2 steps up from Megabite or FreshSlice! In warm weather, the outdoor patio next to a waterfall is great for people watching on the...

I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt because most of the other reviews seem positive, but my experience was horrible. I called in my order and told them that I'd be approximately 15 minutes when they asked how far out I was. When I arrived at the restaurant my pizza hadn't even been started and I ended up waiting for an additional 15 minutes. Once the pizza had finally been cooked, the pizzaiolo pulled a pizza cutter out of a container of - presumably dirty - water and sliced my pizza with it. She then rushed to fumble the box closed and wish me a good night so that she could hurry along with the other pizzas. Once I reached my home I eagerly opened the box to enjoy my dinner and was met with the saddest looking pizza I had ever seen. It was completely soaked in (dirty) water and oil, there were seeds from the roasted red peppers scattered all over the place, the salami looked like it was taken from a schneider's lunchable, the crust was thick and soggy, and the bottom of the pizza had been burnt quite badly. At this point I am hoping and praying that it doesn't taste as bad as it looks...but unfortunately it was worse. The salami tasted like it did indeed come from a lunchable. The sauce was bland, presumably from the water. The amount of cheese used was excessive to say the least and I know I already mentioned this, but the crust was FAR too thick to be considered a proper Neapolitan pizza. I am not sure what these people think they are making but it is NOT Neapolitan pizza.
TLDR: I can safely say that this was the worst pizza I've ever had. If you're looking for quality Neapolitan pizza (and can afford a bit of a drive) run far away from firecrust and head to Mangia E Scappa in fort langley, or Spacca Napoli in port...
Read moreAn unexpected find for really good vegan pizza. Whatever vegan cheese they use is really good, like specialty vegan cheese level rather than the generic shreds that most non-vegan pizza places offering vegan cheese use. They also have vegan chicken and vegan sausage, and you can substitute the vegan ingredients for any of the regular ingredients at no charge, so lots of vegan options here. Vegan happiness aside, it's just good pizza. The crust is pillowy and soft but sturdy. 2/3 visits it's been perfect, one time it was a little more well-done and lost some of that softness but was still good, I just prefer my pizza crust on the softer side. They fit lots of toppings onto the relatively small surface area. I really like the combo they offer where you can combine a small 6" pizza with soup or salad. The small pizza with a side is the perfect size and the combo lets you try different things in one meal which I'm always a fan of. Their salads are fresh and the tomato bisque soup is good - a little plain as served, but add some black pepper and red pepper flakes and it's a nice creamy tomato soup. The online menu only shows the "monster" shakes but they also have regular milkshakes in a few flavours. The Oreo milkshake was a classic old-fashioned thick shake with lots of Oreo pieces and chocolate syrup. I got it to scratch an itch since I haven't had a milkshake in a while and I found it was too sweet for me to comfortably get through the whole thing, but obviously it is a milkshake, so if you know what you are getting into, you will probably enjoy it. The staff is mostly friendly. After you order and pay at the counter they'll bring the food to your table and clean up for you. Sometimes the bathrooms are kind of a mess but cleanliness in the eating...
