Chilean Clan Lastarria — Local services in Santiago

Unfortunately disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a very simple haircut and beard trim, but although I told the barber three different times how I wanted my beard trimmed down; he decided to ignore the request. After I saw it for the last time and stated that it wasn't what I asked for, he arrogantly stated that it essentially looked better that way. Regardless of his opinion of what a style looks like, its the fact that he refused to listen and honor the request I made (which was to just trim down the beard all the same length.) Then I get back to my place and see that he didn't even trim in down evenly in the areas he said to begin with. I got a haircut and a beard trim here. The beard trim was not bad but the haircut was awful. It seemed like they didn't know how to do anything other than a skin-fade pompadour style. After getting back to my hotel, having a shower and seeing how disastrous the haircut was, I ended up shaving my head with my own beard trimmers. Ugh.

Haircut, beard trim, a tiny bottle of beard oil and too came to 46,000 CLP ($70 USD) which is totally outrageous considering the sub-par quality.

There are at least 3 other barbers within a block or two in Lastarria. Save yourself some money and...
