cafe restaurant utopia — Restaurant in Santiago

We stopped to eat as the inside decor and ambience was appealing. It was on a summer afternoon, hot outside but inside it felt better with the fans. The first server was ok, but the next server that took over was really good and attentive with great explanations in Spanish, I translated it to the family. We tried the "crudo" beef tartar, good for sharing with drinks. As someone else mentioned, limited items for eating in the menu. I had chicken pil pil and I love it. The quesadillas were alright. They had beers and cocktails. The music they were playing was English pop. Seems most people there went for drinks, not for food. The price was somewhat elevated for what you get. Their second floor terrace is good for 4 people and probably nice after summer...

Holy crap, what an absolute disaster -- literally the worst dining experience of my entire life. The world would be a better place if this restaurant did not exist. Spare yourself the pain -- do not go anywhere near this place. Seriously. We placed drink orders -- forgotten. We placed food orders -- also forgotten. We had to ask at least three people for anything we wanted. After we had been there for 1.5 hours (no food, empty drinks), no one would even look at us anymore because they knew what a horrific experience we were having. We were staying a few blocks away at the historic Luciano K hotel . This restaurant is on a great street to walk and sit outside . Lots of other restaurants making it a fun area to sit and relax or people watch. We had beers, the ribeye and the beef quesadilla .I also like spicy and I asked for a hot sauce which they had, along with mayonnaise , very popular, and ketchup also. Very good .
