We do not recommend this place for Return Home Permit photo.

Booked a session for a “return home permit” photo. We knew in advance this type of photo needs the studio’s involvement to get an official photo-check slip, and they acknowledged this point as well.

Initially, they seemed to know the requirement of this photo-check, so we followed their instructions. Little did we know.. it turned out they don’t know what the strict official requirements are, so they asked us to go back for another session about 5 days after the photo was taken. Although offered for free, it’s a complete waste of our time and energy. We chose to go somewhere else instead and it was the right choice. This other place was professional, quick and we received the photo-check slip right after our photo session within 20 min.

Also, poor internal communication. Our request has always been Return Home Permit photo, but different staffs asked us about passport or HK ID photo and how many prints we need just two days after our session. A complete unnecessary confusion to customers. And wasted our time (again) to show up at the studio just to realize they are not giving us what we requested. We felt like they just want to close this case...

I book a slot for Identity photo. Very efficient, The whole process is about 4 min. 2 min for make up 1 min for photographing, the last min for choosing a photo. I was told it needs 3 day to obtain photo, so I spend 50 HKD for express. Totally, the one photo cost me 300HKD. I am OK with the price if the photo is well post production. But the truth is they indeed very efficiently send me the awful photo in 5-10min after photographing, though I told them that it is ok to send me the photo before tomorrow. I am really unsatisfied with the post production (It is a disaster), but obviously the 50 HKD is only for one express post production. This is waste of time, be careful before you go! I went for ID photo and I got something that doesn’t look like me at all! It’s impossible to use the photo to apply for any official passport or visa. The reception is not helpful at all and the photographer is a joke as in he thought he is cool but dude you can’t even do your job well can you please just focus a little bit more on what you do?! Only the lady who helps makeup is caring about their client. Yet they charged HKD 259 for the garbage. After collecting the photo I went straight to photomax and got a much nicer ID...
