This is basically a dive bar that serves mostly wine. It's great for those who smoke as they have a nice open area for a drink and smoke, but definitely not a chill place to savour a drink as it gets rowdy.
The cheese platter was good, the pricier drinks (non House or HH ones) are also decent.
Since the bar is small, everyone is talking over each other, and it gets louder and louder. The chatter and noise from other customers combined is near deafening.
Service is a bit strange, or should I say almost non-existent - but this is somewhat understandable as there's no service charge here. Everything is self service and self deciphering. No one came to explain anything, we had to figure out the menu was on the chalk board hung towards the ceiling, and you had to go to the bar to order your drinks. The staff are cold, non attentive and impatient, even though it was hardly busy.
As we left, we saw a few random items added to our bill which we felt was a bit shady and dishonest. Obviously we had addressed the issue with the staff who corrected it later on, but he seemed nonchalant and...
Read moreJust now I got 2 glasses of house red for free, and a sprite when the staff said is lemonade The reason I got the drinks for free because I was there at 3:15 pm and ordered chicken breast and macaroni cheese , the staff said takes 40 mins for the chicken breast I said ok no worries Then another staff said macaroni also takes that long I said ok no worries we can wait Then an hour up , I was hungry like hell , the staff said another 10 mins So I told the staff we had to get back to work and 50 mins ago you guys already made me felt if you didn’t want us to order food by telling us the food will take that long Then eventually they waived our drinks and we left the bar with empty stomach The bar manager Ale Andre Cowle then said they needed to reheat the food with water bath but has no clue what happened because he is off For Christ say if no one can REHEAT the food then don’t say there are food to offer And I never came across any reheat food...

I asked the bartender for a vodka soda with lime and crushed ice. He was kind enough to tell me they didn’t have the vodka I wanted but he could do the crushed ice for me with lemon.
However, another guy named Alex stepped in and told him not to. And spoke to us very rudely saying we are a wine bar; without any explanation without any attempt to recommend a wine or any alternative.
Assuming we don’t speak English, he took the bartender aside and said under his breath ‘there is a vodka bar down the street, they can go there.’
Alex (apparently the manager) made the experience unenjoyable. And his antics behind the bar was more of a disturbance to...
