Disgraceful Service – The Rudest Staff I’ve Ever Encountered

This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had. We arrived at 3 PM, four of us, planning to enjoy a relaxed afternoon with a few drinks and some light food. We sat down, settled in, and when the staff finally came over, we placed our order: two soups, two teas, and two beers.

What happened next was absolutely shocking. Instead of simply taking our order, the employee told us that we had to leave because, apparently, we didn’t order "enough food." Let me be clear: there was no mention of any minimum order or requirement when we entered and sat down. Yet after making us feel welcome enough to sit and decide, they suddenly decided we weren’t "worthy" of being served and asked us to leave.

The level of disrespect was beyond comprehension. The staff treated us like we didn’t belong there, with zero professionalism and a disgustingly condescending attitude. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any business, let alone one that depends on customers for survival.

I cannot stress enough how appalling this experience was. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being insulted and disrespected. They should be ashamed to call themselves...

Rude rude rude and horrible service. We sat outside about 8 of us because it was a nice day. the inside was empty the waiter (bald headed guy) just looked at us so we had to wave him to come outside which was 15 minutes later. He knew we were sitting there. When he did our friends were asking about the brand of drinks since it wasn't on menu. The waiter had a nasty attitude saying read the menu. He was rushing all of us to order. I told my husband I don't understand why people have to be so rude, the waiter said if you don't like it then leave. If this is the way you treat your customers people will always walk away like we did. Will NEVER return to this restaurant. We are high paying customers and took our business to another restaurant around the corner that provided excellent service to us. This place deserve 0 stars because of this guy. Whoever owns this establishment need to hire professional staff. Get rid of him he's...

Unacceptable Service – Disrespectful Staff and Shocking Treatment

We visited this place at 3 PM, intending to enjoy a casual afternoon. There were four of us in total. We sat down and decided to order two soups, two teas, and two beers. However, to our shock, after placing our order, the employee rudely told us we had to leave because we didn’t order "enough" food.

This is completely unacceptable. At no point were we informed upon arrival that there were any ordering requirements. We were already seated and made our selections, only to be abruptly asked to leave. The attitude of the staff was disrespectful, dismissive, and outright unprofessional.

No customer should ever be treated this way. It’s unbelievable that such behavior is tolerated in a service-based establishment. We will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect even a basic level of respect...

What a restaurant, what a story! The most “famous” executioner Jan Mydlář was visiting this restaurant in the 17th century. According the rules he was sitting separately. You can still see his signature on the wall from 1626. The food is very delicious and the team is extremely friendly! When we just arrived from our train ride from Switzerland we were starving hungry - but they just had two or three large groups / tours arriving. But despite that, they served us quickly and very friendly with great food and drinks. You could not start any better your stay in Prague. And that in the middle of the Royal Route, a very touristic route on which you would expect the food to be expensive but lousy. Complete opposite here! Great place to be.
