We stayed in your apartments for 7 nights from 5th to 12th December 2024 in apartment no. 208.||We were very disappointed in our stay, especially when compared to apartments 207 & 206 where other members of our group stayed.||The main issue we had was a bad toilet smell coming from the bathroom which dominated the whole apartment.||It was very noticeable when you first entered the apartment & we reported this on the first morning of our stay but nothing was done about it during our 7 night stay & we only got an apology when we discussed it when we checked out. ||Other issues we had were:-||1. People smoke in area outside kitchen/diner window and when light is on there is no privacy in apartment so curtains have to be closed.||2. On 3 days there was some sort of building maintenance going on close by to our apartment & we could hear loud hammering / knocking. This started at 7am on Friday 6th December & we also complained about this the same morning.||3. There is a musician in apartment next to bedroom / kitchen who practises his instrument scales (saxophone / clarinet?) regularly every day starting at 08:30 when we were still in bed & later in the day. Although not an unpleasant noise it did get quite repetitive at times!||We are not people who complain easily but the above spoilt our stay & experience (especially the toilet smell) the apartment itself was large & well equipped & the beds were very comfortable so it was unfortunate for us.||Upon checking out we were asked to leave a review on the hotel but our experience was not the best so in the first instance we sent two emails to the reception advising them of the issues we had but we got no reply to either of them. ||To be fair the location is very good & apartments 206 & 207 where our friends stayed were lovely but we would definitely not stay in apartment 208 again after our...
Read moreThe 'loft' was not one. The location is very good and also very well connected in terms of transport. However, the pictures on the website do not match reality at all. No clear view of the castle - see pictures below. There were roof beams in front of the two main windows... this apartment is not suitable for older people or those with walking difficulties as there are too many stairs. The furnishings are very minimalist, the few pieces of furniture are shabby, old and tasteless. The few kitchen utensils are from Ikea. If you want to stay longer, you can hardly cook, only a small pan and a small pot are available. The floor is very worn, the bathroom has seen much better days, the furniture there is really rusty, the shower is moldy. When we checked in, the operator (?) was unfriendly and very didactic to us and the guests before us, that is not how you run a hotel/holiday accommodation. The room cleaning was good though, if you pay €5 per day (in Eastern Europe) - and that should be standard for every hotel guest - you get good service. Tipping the room service/cleaning service is a must. Nice: It was very quiet outside the hotel at night, but in the apartment next door children were running around from early in the morning until late at night on the last two days, as it was very thinly soundproof. You want to have peace and quiet on vacation and relax, but unfortunately inconsiderate parents and badly/not at all behaved kids are everywhere. There are much better places to stay in Prague. But the apartment could be turned into something very nice, the...
Read moreMan, if this app had a seven-star rating, I'd throw it at Three Golden Crowns apartment without hesitation.
I've stayed at fancy spots like the Four Seasons, St. Regis, even Bvlgari Hotel. Surprisingly, my time at Three Golden Crowns was right up there with those big names but without the hefty bill.
Smack dab in the heart of Prague, this place is a gem. You can practically high-five Charles Bridge or Prague Castle from here. Plus, the hotel is surrounded by top-notch restaurants and bars. Bus and tram stations? Just a stroll away. Perfect launchpad for city adventures.
Let's talk service – EXCELLENT. The dude at the front desk? Politeness level through the roof. Even when the elevator played hooky, he and his colleague lugged our massive suitcases to our room at fourth floor without doubt. Salute!
Now, the room – kitchen with all the bells and whistles, washing machine and detergent, fridge, and heaters aplenty (Prague decided to snow on us during our trip there).
Only hiccup? The mattress ain't a springy wonder. Too soft for my liking; felt like my back was having a showdown with the wood. Could just be me, though. Also, I wish they put a rubber carpet on the bathtub because it can get slippery when you shower.
All said and done, this spot easily makes my "best hotels I've ever stayed at" list. No doubt, I'll be crashing here again when Prague...
