Plage Goéland de Cannes — Restaurant in Grasse

I recently visited Plage Goéland and I must say, it was a truly awful experience that I would strongly advise others to avoid. There were numerous disappointments that left a sour taste in my mouth.

First and foremost, the location of the beach club is a major drawback. It's situated right next to a public beach, resulting in a large amount of overflow. The beach and water were incredibly crowded, which significantly diminished the overall relaxation and enjoyment that a beach club is meant to offer.

The staff at Plage Goéland are seemingly experts in projecting misery. It was as if every single employee there despised their job. The lack of enthusiasm and courtesy was evident in every interaction. Even worse, our group had a reservation and arrived promptly as they opened, only to be informed that we couldn't sit in the front three rows. This arbitrary restriction left us baffled, especially considering the early arrival. To add insult to injury, the host insinuated we bribe him for a better spot. Unbelievable and unacceptable behavior.

The food menu at Plage Goéland Beach Club was yet another disappointment. Not only is the menu different from what is offered at the restaurant, but the prices are exorbitant as well - a fact that we anticipated. However, the quality of the food did not match the high prices.

After enduring the subpar experience at Plage Goéland, we visited other beach clubs on subsequent days. I can confidently say that this decision was a game-changer. The comparison was night and day. The other clubs offered better service, a more enjoyable beach atmosphere, and a more delectable menu.

If you're planning a visit to Cannes and considering Plage Goéland, I implore you to do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. We did exactly that on subsequent days, and I can genuinely say that our vacation was much more enjoyable without this beach club...

Fantastic Beach Restaurant with Exceptional Food and Service!

Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at this beach restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The food was exceptionally tasty, and the quality was top-notch across all three courses – starters, main course, and desserts.

The Grizzetti family, who run the place, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service staff were plentiful, ensuring that we received fast and impeccable service throughout our meal. The owners themselves were approachable and hospitable, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

This restaurant exudes a high-class ambiance and is undoubtedly one of the best beach restaurants we've ever visited. What's more, they even have a dog-friendly policy, which made our visit even more enjoyable as we could bring our furry companion along.

The restaurant's family and kids-friendly atmosphere impressed us, as they went above and beyond to ensure our young ones were well taken care of with exceptional service quality.

We walked up and down the promenade and visited each private beach before settling on this one. All the Beach prices were the same, with varying food and beverage menus. The Reason we chose here: They offered a genuine warm and welcoming greetings. That's about all the difference it took for us to spend our hundreds of Euros here........Cannes is quite dear in cost, as are the comforts of a private beach club. We wanted a place where our Mother/Grandmother could sit comfortably by the sea, with shade and gentle cooling misting while enjoying delicious foods and beverages and treated with care and kindness - we found that here..After we enjoyed walking all.over Cannes, shopping etc., we joined her at the beach club again. She was smiling, relaxed, happy and completely taken care of. We rented some beach beds and thoroughly enjoyed the Sea and sun.
