First of all I have to say that you cannot fault these apartments on location. Literally one block away from the croisette . We stayed in the 'turquoise' studio apartment for a week and whilst it would have been absolutely fine for a short 2-3 night stay it was a bit cramped for a week. What struck my wife and I was that they do not clean/ service your room at all during a week's stay! After a week of sunbathing on the beach etc you can imagine that we would have liked to have had our bed linen and towels changed at least once ! It would also have been nice to have our bins emptied at least once as they were beginning to smell in the heat. In the end we emailed the owner who dropped off some new towels , toilet roll and some bin bags for us so that we could empty the bins ourselves. They did not however take the dirty towels away and we were advised to put our own used bin bags under the stairs. As you can imagine it didn't really feel like we were on holiday. We have stayed in cheaper apartments in Spain with better service. ||The kitchenette was very basic, fine to make a sandwich and some cereal but that is about it. It would have been useful if the owner had provided details of a local supermarket. We eventually found one but it's about a 15 minute walk away. ||The 'shower' was the smallest one I have ever been in. My wife is 5"4 slim build and could hardly move. I couldn't shower properly at all. There isn't even space to lift your arms up to wash your hair!||There is only one English tv Chanel ( Sky news) and we couldn't get he air conditioning to work- luckily it wasn't too hot!||Noise-wise outside was absolutely fine although I can imagine the street gets a lot busier in the height of summer. Unfortunately the walls in the apartments are very thin and we were regular disturbed by our neighbours shouting to each other at full pelt to each other at all times of the day and night. ||The wifi connection was good which was just as well as the owner requires you to make contact with her as soon as you arrive and we had to contact her again before we left as there was no mention of the check out procedure. This might prove difficult for some travellers if they are not tech savvy.||In summary, we had a lovely holiday but wouldn't stay here again if we were staying for a week. But for a couple of days it...
Read moreI'm really disappointed in the way they managed this situation. I'm an attendee for the Cannes Lions festival this year and I was looking for a nice place near the Palais and O Carre Croisette seemed like the perfect spot for me.||||I immediately booked the room for my 8 night stay in Cannes, received my reservation confirmation and I was charged to my the credit card with the deposit. Thinking everything was perfect with my place to stay in Cannes, I checked that off my to do list.||||3 days later I receive two emails, one from Jean Paul and one from Veronique. None of them had their job position on the email so I didn't know who I was talking to and if this was legit. They both told me that the reservation was cancelled, not giving me any options, recommendations or any help in giving me a good service after what they did. I am a very patient client but if you show no care about customer service I turn into a very exigent person. I asked them if they could put me in another room, if they can give me the non-refundable deposit back and that this was really bad news and their service has been the least helpful I've ever got in any of my trips. ||||They did nothing to help me or fix the situation and just kept on saying that they didn't have availability.||||This is certainly not the best way to treat a customer and to manage a situation like this, they literally threw me out of the hotel without any reasonable explanation, they just said it was a problem with the website WHICH IS NOT MY PROBLEM. I hope they can get...
Read moreMyself and sister were delayed in Cannes so we decided to book here for 2 nights! The apartment itself was Ok new kitchen fitted area and was clean and would say value for money.||We went out the second day and returned in the afternoon to find out we had been broken into too! All apartments doors on the 2nd floor had been put through. ||We had stolen a number of personal items mainly jewelry and leather goods, the whole apartment was ran sacked. I dont know if this was a targeted attack but we were left shaken and have to book elsewhere for accommodation for remaining night.||The owner arrived and told us not to worry all items we lost to let her know and she will filed with police and insurance. We were leaving Cannes next day on flight back to UK and were contacted saying we had to log our items to Cannes police.||The safe was locked in the open position on arrival in hindsight should have called to get this resolved. The owner has since been in touch saying we are not covered for any items as nothing was in the safe.||We are currently in talks with Cannes police and personal insurance but we are going to be out of pocket for our...
