Small man-made island located in the middle of the Seine river. Access is via two bridges. One at either end of the island.

The island is less than 1km long and is only 20 metres wide. The island is lined with trees on either side and there is a wide footpath in the middle. An excellent place to...

Not too busy or touristy if you like a quiet walk or time on a bench by yourself. A very serene spot to spend a couple of hours. My favourite for a stroll any time of the day.

You can take the stairs from the center of Pont du Bir-Hakeim to enjoy this path of swans, an artificial small land that divides the Seine River from Port du Bir-Hakeim until Pont de Grenelle, where the replica of Liberty Statue was located. I was lucky to capture these swans this morning.
