The worst experience of this trip to Paris. I wanted to try French food, but unfortunately I chose the worst one. I felt looked down upon by the waiter. I don't know if it was due to cultural differences. I didn't feel I was treated friendly. First of all, the food. The three dishes we ordered were just mediocre. The main dishes that could be chosen that day were not interesting either. The taste of the food we chose was also quite average. We tried to be polite and didn't ask questions directly. We can accept that the food doesn't meet our taste, but we can't accept the mediocre taste at all. The food is totally not up to the level of the restaurant. The service shocked us the most. First of all, since the menu is not in our native language, we didn't understand the meaning of the fruit cocktail under the non-alcoholic beverage. When it came up, we found that it was just a very ordinary juice. At that time, we felt very embarrassed and told the waiter that day about this situation. Why is there no alcohol? What is the difference between it and ordinary juice? He explained it and we also expressed our understanding. But he asked if we wanted to add a little alcohol. We thought it was a free gift, so we nodded and said ok, but when we paid the bill, the receipt showed the mojito that we never ordered. We were confused because it was completely different from what we ordered, and even 4 euros more expensive. Moreover, he did not mention it when he told us to add alcohol, and the 4 euros was not written on the menu. So we argued, but I am not sure if the waiter's English understanding is limited. He emphasized to us again and again that it was none of his business and he was just doing his job. Then he held the menu and explained again and again that it was because we ordered the wrong thing. This is a typical substitution of concepts. And the tone was not very friendly. It was unclear who was the consumer. As for me, I had a bad impression of the whole trip to Paris and the whole French meal. In our country, French food represents high-end, exquisite and excellent service. We have always been full of very good fantasies about it. But this waiter in this restaurant shattered all our fantasies. Maybe it's cultural differences, but this is a very simple thing. You told me to add alcohol without reminding me of the extra consumption. I would like to ask if it is because of my foreign identity that you not only did not apologize, but also seemed to blame us for being unreasonable? I told my friend over and over again that the problem was not that we were unwilling to spend the money, but that you did not remind us in advance, that our English was not clear enough, that you did not understand it well enough, or that there was a cultural difference. Of course, I have to admit that I have a bad temper, because in my country, if I do not inform the details of the consumption, this is a very...
Read moreI have been in Quai Liberté on Sunday 2nd.
I was in a table inside the boat with friends and everything was fine. When I was paying my bill, the waiter left the room with my card saying the card machine didn't have enough signal.
He took around 3 to 5 minutes to come back with my card. I left the restaurant after paying, and one hour later 2 online purchases using my card (19 and 29 euros) were made, and more two on the following day (50 euros each). The waiter left with my card and got all information from it and it's now using it. I had to block my card for safety.
This is very sad, because the food was great and the place was great, but one person with bad intentions destroyed all the experience and transformed it into...
