Don't talk - eat❣ These chocolates are so good, I hardly know what to say. I have bought them before on a previous visit and it was top of my list to visit on this one. There are around six shops in Paris - just go to the website to find the nearest one. This one was in the Rue de Rivoli (the other previously visited was at Sacre Coeur). I haven't tried their pastries yet, but while I was inside, there were plenty of people coming in to buy. The chocolates not only look beautiful, they taste gorgeous! Read more2 stars for the kouignettes only. This shop has so many delectable looking treats, but the kouignettes are not where it’s at.
I was in a savory mood when I swung by, so I got a pesto and an onion kouignette. I liked the onion flavor, didn’t like the pesto flavor. But the kicker was that the kouignettes were not flaky or crispy at all! The shopkeeper heated them up before I left the shop, but perhaps she just used a microwave instead of a toaster? The pastry was sad and soggy. Possibly a downside of the small size of a kouignette.

Read morechocolate shop on the main street. I went there mainly for their small kouign amann (kouignette). It was self-service, so you'd pick which flavour you want. They had both sweet and savoury flavours. We also got some macarons as they were only €1 each.
The kouignette were very buttery and sweeter than others I've had but not soo sweet that i find it too sweet. I like to microwave mine when I eat them and the kouignette becomes soft afterwards.
