Had an iftar and everything went well till the bill payment time. Each of us paid and the gentleman said all ok, so we left the restaurant. We were chitchatting right next to the restaurant when we heated him yelling that the transaction of the last card didn’t go through. Not a lovely way to announce this in public in the street while you were not running away. Apparently, I had to increase the ceiling of my card but I was not aware. I came back inside the restaurant and in front of other guests he kept repeating that the transaction was rejected. I Saif clearly that whoever’s card it is I will pay it. So there was no problem. Again he kept repeating but it was rejected. I repeated that I will pay even if it is not my card. He showed me the receipt and honestly I misread the card number and thought it was not mine but was ready to pay and he wanted to know whose card it was. After checking again he saw it was my card and kept telling me: “But you said it is not your card” even though I kept repeating I am paying. It was so disrupting and embarrassing that I didn’t even have time to open the app and do it online. Good I had cash and my friends had their cards. I found his way of dealing with this so disgusting, disrespectful and unacceptable. His drama just made me change my mind and un-recommend this place to anyone I know. I hope the management will take my comment in consideration for training purposes, so this gentleman learns how to address their customers in a professional way. I hope as well that this is not a common practice in this place that looked nice till this incident. I hope they will make sure they check their transactions while their customers are still at the counter instead of chasing them outside the premises, as this can ruin a nice experience in...
Read moreExtremely disappointed, went as a family for their ramadan iftar, we chose it because it had entertainment and also had good reviews online. The dining room was overcrowded, with only one small buffet that was left empty within minutes. It says buffet a volonté, but its not true the food does stop, either you queue and fight with other diners to get something to eat or you stay hungry. The only thing I managed to eat properly was the soup because no one wanted it. The salad bar was empty, the main dishes were cleaned, never refilled, I won’t even mention the inexistant deserts. Salad started getting refilled at 7:45 when iftar is at 6:50, the mains never got refilled except for plain white rice and green bean and tomato stew, i asked the waiters multiple times they kept on blaming the diners for helping themselves to the buffer too many times and for throwing away food, I’m sorry but what part of « all you can eat buffet » do you not understand? If that’s what you are offering why are you surprised that people are doing exactly that!?!! The entertainment sound system was not calibrated properly you’ll be dead if you stay for too long. Either you reduce the number of tables and guests if you have such a small buffet, or you cancel your buffet, hire more staff and have a set menu served at the table. This was a bad experience overall, the food was of poor quality and nowhere near enough for the amount of booked diners, half of our table left with barely eating anything, not worth €38 euro at all, to top it off we weren’t even offered a discount. Shamefully privileging greedy gain over customer satisfaction, needless to say we will not be going back nor during ramadan...
Read moreThe food was delicious! I ordered the mansaf and honestly it was the closest to the original taste. The ambiance was great! Although it was Monday night and the restaurant wasn’t full, they had live music and it was super nice! The staff members were very professional and kind! They offered me free Moroccan mint tea. Considering the size of the restaurant, the prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back and bring...
