I visited this shop last month with a friend who lives locally, and she told me before we went in that the owners didnât allow photographs. I kept my phone in my pocket the whole time, and the lady inside was absolutely lovely. She even recommended a hard candy when I told her my favorite flavor (cherry).
If youâre deterred from visiting by the one-star ratings calling the owner rude, just respect their wishes and theyâll treat you well. They donât want their shop treated like something to gawk at, flooded with tourists who are only there to take aesthetic photos for their social media. Itâs a beautiful shop, so I understand wanting to take photos as a keepsake, but there are photos of it online, and you can save those for your memories. Iâve saved the shopâs address so I can visit again the next time Iâm in Paris, and I look forward to it! The chocolate bar I got there is maybe the best chocolate Iâve had in my life.
Merci beaucoup! Ă...
Read moreMy fiance and I visited this store over a year ago while we were on the hunt for a very unique black licorice for her mother. We purchased several varieties at this store as well as many other delicious options.
The employee working was very helpful in helping us find which varieties they had and we even managed to get the exact one her mother remembered! It was a special memory for my fiancé and I and we will be back at this store in April for more licorice and other treats!
It is a very nice store, and we recommend stopping by to purchase their candy. They have "no photo" signs up all over the place, so be sure to not take any photos...
