Diptyque Paris Saint-Honoré — Local services in Paris

I am rarely dissapointed by Diptyque, but in this store I was very negatively surprised. I am a long life fan, have owned many scents and have my signature summer and winter fragrances from Diptyque. Since I’m in Paris and saw the store I wanted to go in, for the experience and to ask about the limited edition summer scent since I used my Ilio last year in one summer, and the sales assistan first pretended she doesn’t know what I’m talking about, then just asked “summer or winter” and I said it’s a summer fragrance and she started spraying me with a random scent I didn’t ask for. Then I told her no, and that for summer I always wear eau des sense and she said she doesn’t know it (???) it was right there and I showed it to her and she rolled her eyes and repeated the name after me but in better french ofcourse, as if I said it so badly she could not understand. There was another girl that watched from behind and tried to help, but the copper haired girl was just very rude and then told her to stop trying helping or something in that direction. We left the store in that moment because the experience was overall unpleasant. Really really dissapointed, I was in many deparment stores in my life at Diptyque corners, but this store that should be the face of the company was a complete...

I live here in Paris. I just came out of the shop 30 mins ago with Eau Duelle EDT. The experience would have been 5-starred if it was not for the tall Parisian female staff with short blonde hair and red lips (maybe she was a manager? She looked so conceited) I caught her looking at me with side eye while I was sampling perfumes around the shop (as if she was afraid I would swipe a bottle of 138 euro- perfume and run away while my 2,600 euro-handbag was still sitting on the chair deep inside the shop???????) No smile whatsoever even after I already made a purchase. Normally, every shop in Paris would wish you a good evening or any other good words as you leave. The ambiance in the shop was kinda cold. Thank god for the Asian female staff who greeted me nicely and took good care of me during the purchase. Otherwise, the experience could go down to one starred or even minus. I had the chance to extend my stay in this lovely town and the first thing I did was re-visit this place for two reasons 1- to ask for the lovely names I had thrilled to meet with. And was the three Musketeers “Jo” & “ Thaiza” & “Tommy” 2- to re-smell the fragrant that they have “34” and the knowledge that thy provide it to me and to understand this number means for the first shop that they have now. With the store manager that you must ask for “Corinng”.
