Great neighborhood theater with two small, cozy auditoriums (the red room upstairs and the intimate blue room downstairs) showing classics of world cinema (I saw a screening of WINGS today). The theater is in the Latin quarter, right next to the Sorbonne and next to two other great theaters. An essential place for movie lovers, a few minutes away on foot from the Pantheon, the Luxembourg gardens, St Germain des Prés, St Michel square and Notre Dame. cute theater and good sound system. went after Lynch’s passing for a Mullholand Drive screening. the audience was so stupid and laughed at parts of the movie which were not funny and keep talking during the movie and getting up to go to the bathroom. the worst spectatorship I have ever seen in my life. the theatre is pretty & atmospheric but they should have an attendant in the room to kick out people who don't know how to behave in public. i write this review in no way as a criticism to the staff or venue, but as a warning for those who wish to see a film without being distracted by other people laughing, walking around or talking at full volume. seriously, if you think the audience will behave better here than at the average shopping mall cineplex you will be...
