A little disappointed. We walked 25 mins from our hotel to come here based on a recommendation for some Italian food. Our welcome was kind of lukewarm despite the fact we had made a reservation. At least the junior wait staff were polite and attentive and seemed happy we were there. But the restaurant has a very pleasing decor and we were still excited for the evening. After we ordered cocktails to start, the main waiter (older guy) removed our wine glasses without asking if we intended to order wine. He didn’t do this to the French family next to us we noticed when they ordered cocktails. The other senior waiter who wore sneakers, explained the Parma ham machine to the French family next to us and eagerly brought them plates to try and recommended wines etc. He did the same for the larger French group that sat on the other side of us. But he never even bothered to ask us if we would like to order some and ignored us all evening as much as possible until we had to pay. It was like we were invisible. Pros: the Bruschetta was excellent. The pasta dishes we ordered were very good and my children enjoyed the fresh pizza. It was our last night in Paris and since we felt a little unappreciated as guests, we got the check and left. On the way back to the hotel we bought desserts and had some wonderful wine at a nearby Cafe instead. That...
Read moreOur family had an excellent dining experience at Vita Ristorante in Paris! From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported to a cozy corner of Italy. The warm, fresh décor and the gentle Italian themed music in the background created an authentically charming atmosphere that made us feel instantly welcome.
The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, with staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy making our meal special. They were patient with our children, offered thoughtful wine pairings for the adults, and made excellent recommendations.
The pizzas were a standout— perfectly blistered crusts topped with fresh, vibrant ingredients. Each bite was a perfect balance of flavor and texture. But the real highlight was the homemade pasta. Every dish showcased the kind of care and craftsmanship you’d expect from a family-run trattoria in the heart of Italy.
We left Vita Ristorante feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a genuine Italian meal in Paris, especially for families who want great food in a welcoming...
Read moreI had a reservation at Vita been booked for over a month, they called me 3 days before the reservation date to tell me they had to cancel my booking because they could provide any vegetarian options 🤔. I asked what about the famous pasta and margarita pizza you make and told me very rudely to book some other place as they couldn't cater for special requirements. Very disappointed in the way I was spoken to as the customer especially after my family and friends have been there and told me very positive things about the restaurant. Would just like to put this out here for others, even tho the restaurant is very popular and known I'm not that gullible for them to say they can't make and vegetarian dishes. I'm just going to assume they would have had another bigger group booking so had to cancel ours to make space for them. I would highly recommend asking if your booking is confirmed and won't get cancelled if you...
