I adore this store. There are amazing stores all down this street actually. This trip we stayed by the Opera and walked to Montmartre. I saw this antique store online and knew I wanted to stop by. The antique district shops can be very overwhelming to tourists, this store has quirky fun vintage and antique items and also the fancy French items you may be too intimidated to ask about in the gallery sale shops. It's cool, casual, and has hidden gems if you have the time. We made the mistake of coming toward the end of the day rather than earlier, and I got self conscious about leaving so we did not hold the owner there. He was so very kind and laid back, he probably wouldn't have minded but I knew others had already closed for the day. I have several regrets that I didn't buy, but I will make sure I make more time next visit and an extra bag because this shop and where ever else they may recommend are worth a trip to this gorgeous city itself.
*Note for US tourists: France has such a deeper history, very obviously, but when you are used to finding very cool old things in the US that is based on a hundred years at best. When you go to places that don't consider something notable until multiple centuries have past the vintage and antique items by our standards are nothing. I bought a handful of old medical bottles that cost nothing compared to their US shop comparison. I also like old printer's typeface blocks and the fonts quality and age available are not available in the US.
