Ponthieu Soleil Bronzage avec ou sans UV & Aquabiking — Local services in Paris

I reserved an aquabike session via Treatwell a few months ago to test this place and it was a complete waste of time and money. It was off to a bad start from the moment I walked in. The welcome was not great, the young receptionist was impatient and acted like I was bothering her on an early Sunday morning. She showed me the aquabike and was talking to me like I was dense. Whatever. I was the first customer and there was stagnant water inside the machine, as if it had been filled the day before. I turned the water jets on at the maximum level in hopes of “refreshing” the water. There was also a problem with temperature. It was lukewarm. From my experience, aquabiking uses cold water and at no time did the useless rude girl even ask me about temperature preference or offered to adjust it like other places do. She just wanted me to get in so she could go back to her phone. It gets worse. It's also normal to have signs of wear and tear on a machine, but there were traces of rust.. Very disappointing. I pointed out my dissatisfaction on my review on the Treatwell website and they replied by “Poisson d’avril?” (“April Fool’s?”) How incredibly stupid (just look at their replies to anyone who criticizes their dump) and what a rude way to treat customers.

Déçue... Le salon joli et moderne à l accueil.des sièges, une petite table, une fontaine à eau bien fraîche, une jeune fille pimpante à l accueil...mais en vrai : La machine 2 pour le bronzage plutôt vieille, ceci dit opérationnelle. Pas de musique, pas de deo, ni démaquillant, cabine extrêmement petite et étouffante, porte peu sécurisante ( vraiment verrouillée?). Je découvre à la fin de la séance qu il y a 2/3 démaquillants et deo devant les toilettes . Cela aurait été bien de le savoir avant. Les toilettes, passez votre chemin ... Assez sale, j'ai du repasser un coup.sol suspect, bord de cuvette sale... Sinon la jeune fille de l'accueil semblerait sympathique, souriante, causante, ... En fait cela en est dérangeante. Elle fait attendre les clients car trop occupée a tapper la causette aux autres clientes. Et la robe de la cliente, et sa robe à elle, la cliente d'après on discute car cette dernière quitte la ville, et la bise et encore un dernier au-revoir et au fait ..10mn comme cela... la cliente derrière moi, on la connait bien, comment va t'elle d'ailleurs, blablabla, tu peux y aller toute seule... j'avais les larmes aux yeux...Mais quand je dis qu elle discute , elle oublie totalement ces autres clients, Parle en boucle, et en oublie le produit dans la cabine... Elle dit que son chef est injoignable et ne répond jamais au téléphone , ce qui n'est ni sérieux, ni rassurant pour les clients. Beaucoup de maladresses , je passe sur d autres détails . Très haut perchée me...

Super quick and easy experience. I walked in, no wait, and was taken care of straight away.

The receptionist was really friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and modern.

Only downside is the tanning room doors don’t lock, which felt a bit weird but aside from that, it was great. Bit pricey, but it’s Paris so I can’t complain.
