In store like this you expected them speak English, not everyone but especially for those whose in the cashier. This was two years ago, but had to argue firmly with the Manager to EXCHANGE a folding knife that would not unfold. French is a second language to me, and the Manager seemed gleeful that he would be responding to me in French (I had seen him speak English earlier) to try to intimidate me, but I was comfortable making my reasonable request in French. I will not go back to store again, nor will I recommend anyone to shop there. The shop looked nice, but all items are super overpriced. You can find the same items at much lower prices from stores within minutes walk. My wife and I bought a frying pan at Simon for EUR 32 which is just round the corner. At Bovida, the same pan sells for EUR 45!! Oh, on top of this, if you buy something and change you mind later, you DON'T get refund! all you get at best is a voucher that is valid for only one month.
