A. Simon — Local services in Paris

Ive been to Paris twice and have had nothing but great and friendly experiences with people except at this place. I set my items on the counter and gave the lady (middle aged to older blonde) the best "bonjour" i could, and she ignored me while doing other stuff behind the counter. I was fine and just looked at stuff hanging up by the counter while she was busy. I didnt think there was a problem until after quite a bit of time had passed and another lady working there went over and said something to her and then the blonde lady started saying stuff with a very bad tone. I dont speak French, but I could tell whatever she was saying wasnt nice. I was a little shocked so I looked at a second worker standing behind her, and she looked at me uncomfortably. I then looked at the first lady, and she had an uncomfortable look on her face as well. I then asked the first lady if I was standing in the wrong spot or something, but she didnt speak English. Maybe 10-20 seconds later the blonde lady helped me, but it was obvious this was an unpleasant customer service experience. When I was shopping there, I didnt say a peep except to maybe my wife, so Im at a loss to what triggered her. I give this place 2 stars instead if 1, because it was a cool store with lots of great...

I am so disappointed to be writing this as I was looking forward to coming to this store since the day I arrived in Paris. I just moved to the city and was looking for a high quality store I could purchase my kitchen wear in. From the moment I walked in (with my 60+ year old mother), we were treated horrifically. The staff were not only rude, but followed us around staring and rolling their eyes. After 20+ minutes in the store, an employee came up to my husband, grabbed our basket of goods out of his hands, slammed them on the counter and proceeded to ring up the items. Mind you, my family were not even speaking to one another throughout our visit due to how uncomfortable we felt. Despite the fact that we were still shopping they insisted we check out immediately. We spent over 600 euros in the store and got not so much as a goodbye. I left the store in tears. I will never be returning and advise anyone else who might be in the market for kitchen goods to...

I went to the shop for buying a Knife and I wanted to choose a better knife and I am looking for a member to get a help. But nobody asked me and nobody came.
