Blue Fox The Bar — Restaurant in Budapest

Upscale craft cocktail bar located inside the Kempinski Hotel. I sat directly at the bar and you can tell the level of detail and attention that was put into each drink by the bartenders. While I did try cocktails that were available from their menu, the bartender did craft me a drink off-menu based on my spirit of choice and palette. Great place to socialize and meet other travelers or gather your company for a night cap. It was definitely a place where I could not stop with 1 drink because everything was so good.

Recommend reviewing your bill at the end. I noticed additional charges outside of my drinks. I was left to assume that I was charged for the nuts that were provided without being consulted. Kind of sneaky to charge me for something that appeared to be complimentary. The bar nuts were good and I would have happily paid for them, but to be surprised by the charge on my tab left me leaving slightly upset. Keep in mind that this is an assumption, as I didn’t question it upon settling my charges. I guess I should have, but I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it - I just don’t know what else the charges could...

The Blue Fox Bar isn’t a standalone cocktail spot like we first thought—it’s actually inside a hotel! 🏨 But don’t let that put you off—it’s got a cool vibe and is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Shoes on the Danube and near the Las Vegas Casino. 🎰
