BlastBeat Bar — Restaurant in Budapest

An absolute gem of a place for anybody who's into metal. It's the real deal here.

If your Hungarian isn't the best, don't worry like I did because they were exceptionally welcoming and spoke in English. We chatted for hours on end, even though it was my first time here. I'm glad I just came in despite the initial reluctance to enter a new bar full of strangers alone. It was beyond worth it considering how friendly they were, especially the manager and the owners. To top it off, the drinks were inexpensive as well.

Very good music, friendly staff and good cocktails. :) It's not a very good looking bar, so if you want a fancy place this is not a bar for you. It's the kind of bar you go to feel good, listen to good metal and drink a beer. It's pretty hard to find if you are not from Budapest. The bar entrance has no sign with the name of the bar. I really loved this bar. It felt as I was at a friend's place. In their basement. Listening to dark music my parents would never approve. It's not a place for pretentious people, it's cheap, brutal and wants you to wash your hands properly after you go to the bathroom and look carefully where you sit.
