I had a terrible customer service experience at Social Colaba. Rude staff and uncalled for lies that just discriminated against us because we were women.

Whenever we have tried to book at table at Colaba Social on the weekends we are told that the place doesn’t take any bookings. We tried again on the 6th of April, Saturday . We were told the same thing. So we reached there at a decent hour to get a table. There was one table free and when we asked to be seated at it, we were told that it was a reserved table. Appalled at the fact that we were told different when we called that day, we almost left. But we decided to wait. They finally gave us a small table. This table was close to the one that we apparently booked by someone. They even told us that the table was a minimum booking table for 21000 and the people who occupied that table left in less then 30mins. The table they gave us had one less seat. We were curtly told to adjust on the sofa. Since there was no one yet at that other table, we pulled a chair to ours and sat. After some time had passed someone came and sat on it. Just three men and they had enough of seats. The server came to us and rudely asked my friend to get up from the chair because the chair belonged to the other table. He stood there and as soon as she got up just snatched the chair. We asked the men of that table if they reserved the table earlier or after coming to socials they clearly mentioned they spoke to the manager after reaching socials.They spoke to those men so properly and us being women were spoken to very rudely.

I do not believe that this is something that a brand like Social does to its customers and that is why I’m writing to you. I believe you care about your customers and do not discriminate...
