Read moreWell this was long pending review. But I guess now is the right week as we celebrate 75th year of independence sad to know that people are still not free of judgements. This place is so pretty but I can’t describe as my sister and I had the most sour experience of our life. So we were in Mag Street Kitchen for lunch and decided to do a quick visit to Neuma. Being a food lover and always on a look out for new places opening in the city, this was on my wish list with the hype done. I called to say we are specifically coming for desserts to the place from the neighbouring restaurant. This place gives a very uninviting vibe. No wonder this place was almost empty as compared to the neighbouring restaurants which were completely booked. So here’s the bitter tale; There were people on the table beside us who kept judging us and passing comments like weather we will eat, can we afford the place, have we just come for pictures etc etc coz we had taken stuff from Mag street too so we had those bags. Apparently we learned that it was co-owner and friends. The manager apologised took it down in writing but there was no follow up after taking down my number. I was expecting a call there after but nothing happened so far. It was highly demeaning because we often go to places and have the best of food if not food people are hospitable since it’s fine dine and hospitality has to be at its best. And even if it’s an aspirational place, why can’t someone walk in to the place to check it out and see if they can come any other time. The hype is not worth as the menu was very limited and rather not impressive. So here’s me expressing from independent India that you guys need to progress from the thought of giving an impression that you can rule around. Although I was highly impressed the way the place looked but highly recommend that people should not go here coz all that glitters is...
