Read moreI love the food here. I've never ordered anything that I didn't completely enjoy. The primary issue that I've eating there lately is the spectacular amount of wasted paper that is used here. Each person is given a menu that is roughly the size of 2 A4 sheets for you to put an 'x' in the box next the item that you want, meaning that these menus are no longer reusable.
I understand that they may have needed to change the menu style due to COVID, but it doesn't really eliminate any contact as the person has to give you the page and a pen (that was either used by someone else, or is also disposable), then you use and then give it to another waiter once you enter your order. This waiter then brings plates of food to other people and hand other menus to other customers.
This waste could easily be minimised by having one menu per table, but the menus are always given per person, so a table of 4 would be given 4 giant, single use printouts, rather than people simply writing the number of items in the box.
Another solution would be to have a QR code on the table that brings the customer to a menu done up on their Facebook page or something and then the waiter would take the order as normal on a notepad. That way, they wouldn't have to pay for constantly printing menus, and there would be no contact at all.
Sitting in a booth and seeing all of these menus being brought to tables really makes me uncomfortable eating in...

I can’t control the weather outside .. I said we were sitting inside . She just ignored me . Pity as food was tasty and great portions just not hot enough There was a lot of elderly people inside ., all had their coats on too We were on the clock so didn’t ask for new hot food . But I think at this stage of the game and for the price of food it should just be something that’s standard( just to add ) I wish I had of read reviews before going and the owners response to the reviews . Basically if customers speak out his replies are not of someone listening to things he could work on it’s just a negative response . Filling out a sheet of paper ticking off what you want but when waitress comes you gotta explain anyway is...
