We ate at this place twice. Their dishes varies from day to day, so we tried calamary, octopus, seafood salad etc. everything was delicious. Their seafood is super fresh and of amazing quality. The lunch menu set us back 20euro (a big plate of seafood with a glass of prosecco) and some bread. Honestly, I don't think it's expensive. Do visit them! The location is inside the market. Service was inappropriate.

The waitress with the white t-shirt didn’t care at all about our order. We explained to her multiple times about our preferences and even if she looked like she understood, she put the order to get prepared after half an hour and of course the order was totally wrong. Mi sono rivolto alla pescheria Duca del mercato Trionfale per acquistare pesce fresco destinato a un piatto importante. Ho trovato una buona varietà e un banco ordinato, ma purtroppo l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Gli scampi e i gamberi acquistati presentavano un odore neutro nella polpa, ma le teste, una volta schiacciate in cottura per realizzare una bisque, hanno sprigionato un odore molto intenso e pungente, tanto da costringermi a scartarle. La polpa, seppur utilizzabile, non aveva la dolcezza e la qualità che ci si aspetterebbe da un prodotto di prima scelta, e in alcuni assaggi a crudo risultava amarognola. Apprezzo l’impegno di chi lavora dietro il banco, ma un’attenzione maggiore alla reale freschezza del prodotto, soprattutto dei crostacei interi, sarebbe fondamentale. Nel settore, la presentazione visiva non basta: teste e gusci raccontano la vera freschezza del pesce, e chi compra deve poter avere fiducia assoluta. In sintesi: banco fornito, ma esperienza di acquisto che lascia dubbi sulla selezione e gestione del prodotto. Per piatti in cui il pesce è protagonista, la qualità deve essere impeccabile...
