ReX HAIR INTERNATIONAL — Local services in Osaka

I had a wonderful visit at the beginning of October 2024 to ReX Hair International. It was shortly before my flight back home and I did not have an appointment, and while unusual, I thought I would try it spontaneously. I had come in asking for a colour treatment with the goal of aligning my blonde hair colour with my natural, darker shade. I do not speak Japanese and thus did not know, if all of this was possible. But not only were the hair stylists and team incredibly friendly and kind, I even got the chance to have an appointment, we all made do with translators and the overall service was just absolutely wonderful! I had the honour of being the customer of Rintaro Nakano and an apprentice/colleague of his. The service was impeccable - full attention, fast, careful, kind and professional. Adapting the hair colour to previously bleached hair is already quite difficult, but also meeting an almost exact match of the original hair colour almost impossible. I am writing now, as a couple months later, my natural hair colour has grown, and one cannot tell the difference! I was in Osaka and was searching for a hair salon to dye my hair and came across ReX after reading the reviews. I didn't have a booking so I was really glad they took me in. Ryuichi and another artist coloured my hair, and although the finished colour wasn't what I was expecting because of my dark hair, the service was still top notch and it was such an amazing experience. It was so affordable as well - so much cheaper than where I'm from (Sydney). We mostly communicated through a translating app so I appreciated that he tried his best to accomodate my requests. Finally writing my review after my trip to Japan! I made a reservation through the HotPepper website, but I was super nervous when I walked in because my Japanese isn’t great. However, Shiori, my stylist, was sooo nice! 🥰 She carefully worked on my hair, communicated with me throughout the entire haircut, color, and treatment process, and even offered me a coupon for first-time visitors!
