The wife helped to enquire if it was possible to order online pay then collect later ( like we previously did in ginza) . We would not have risked asking had we not done this elsewhere with minimal hassle.

The lady staff with short hair and glasses curtly responded "service for japanese only " - became visibly ROYALLY irritated when she managed to provide an account in the japanese ver app a uniqlo staff in tokyo previously setup for us - not sure how the ginza staff did it back then - hopefully not thru flaming hoops for us - but between us preparing ahead QR codes of what to order to ordering online for us on that account to queuing to paying - under 30mins and mostly from the queuing to pay part.

Instead she went through an entire routine with the clearly irate staff of got enquired if she has a local telephone number asked if she has a local address asked her to wait for 20mins came back explaining why this cannot be done because she does not have all the above how ordering online will take up to 2 weeks and we shouldn't attempt ordering online.

On hindsight when they said service for japanese only - should have read between the lines and backed off - that is my bad for not linking the 2 and 2 ; empathise their work has become more demanding in light of influx of tourists and their shennanigans so they have every right to hate us - but maybe a simple no such service in osaka will suffice and spare both...

It's a pretty big Uniqlo with almost every option. There is a big counter for Tax free options. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I asked a couple of questions and they explained in great detail. I asked whether or not we were allowed to wear clothes that are bought as tax-free. The staff explained to me that it is allowed, but of asked at the airport, we must provide receipts. Stuff like food and drinks if bought tax-free must not be consumed in Japan. Yeah, he even explained that stuff. I would give the place five stars, but he explained everything to me in Japanese. Luckily I can speak and understand, but I would imagine that it would be difficult if you can't. Overall, the experience was great. Staff went above and beyond. They even helped me find other sizes. Discrimination and disrespectful attitude towards foreigners! Obvious and explicit Japanese superior complex staffs especially that lady who looked like "osaka-oba-chang" at the tax-free counter. No more friendly and polite staffs, service quality definitely gone...
