Absolutely appalling experience – avoid at all costs. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone unless you’re actively seeking to be mistreated.

This is by far the most disrespectful and unpleasant shop I’ve encountered in Tokyo — perhaps even in the whole of Japan. If you're looking to be mistreated and have your day soured, this is the place for you.

I picked up a box of Anessa sunscreen that felt suspiciously light and simply asked if the product was actually inside. Instead of a basic answer, a Chinese female staff member barked at me to go to the counter and just pay, completely brushing me off.

At the checkout, a Chinese male staff member — name started with “Zheng” — displayed an appalling lack of care. He threw all my items into the bag with zero regard: delicate snacks like biscuits and wafers were crushed under heavier items like bottled sunscreen and bath bombs (photo evidence attached).

The sheer level of disregard and for the customer was infuriating. No professionalism. No courtesy. No respect.

Would have given zero stars if I could... and just to clarify I'm Chinese who is bilingual in English...

Weird shopping experience. I was followed around the store by one of the sales clerks the entire time I shopped in the store. It felt creepy and rude. At one point, I thought, “well if she’s going to follow me, she might as well help me find things.” When I asked for her help locating the sunscreen, she took me upstairs and tried to sell me a very expensive product, when there was an entire aisle of affordable sunscreens on the ground floor. The staff(Mani NaKa Mia) who in the tax free counter, was really rude and impolite, her attitude is bad and disrespectful, felt like we did something wrong but we just walked in to the cashier to check the bill. At the moment there was not much customer. We talked with her in English. And she crushed my snack when packing.
