Food was delicious and well presented. However, staff is quite rude, we speak English so we assume that may be due to the fact that we are foreigners? We were with 4 persons
Upon entering the building which you reach by elevator, the store clerk rushed up to the entrance when the door opened and first thing they say is to take our shoes off. Surprisingly rude welcome for Japanese standards having had a top notch Omakase en Yakiniku experience the days before.
The food was good, tasty and beef was decent for the 14000 yen all you can eat course. We entered the restaurant at 8:08 PM and they first ask you to remove your shoes and choose which style hotpot you want.
We started our first order around 8:18PM and that moment the staff also told us that we can sit for 2 hours and our last order would be 30 mins before. We know this concept from other restaurants and Asian countries.
The previous order was ordered at 9:18PM. The sour kicked in after they told us last at 9:35 we had our last order, so I was like ok, we order. At 9:40PM they told us our last order was already done at 9:18PM. I didn’t agree as they told us 90mins to order. They did put in our last order eventually, but now the worst part.
I would’ve been fine with this as they solved the issue with timing, however the rudest part is when they brought the bill. I left the bill next to me, and they kept standing behind us. They then kept asking if we can settle the bill now, this was 9:55 or something. I said ok thats good I said I wanted to pay by card, and they looked at me and was waiting for us to get up while mid-dining to settle the bill first because they do not have a wireless card terminal. I had to leave my food and go to the payment terminal at the entrance.
I think this is really bad for a restaurant that charges this amount. In 30 years that my family has been in restaurant business, we never had asked a customer to settle a bill mid dining.
I don’t understand why you would treat your customers like this. Is all you can eat not profitable enough? Then quit it. We had 2-3 drinks pp which is not cheaping out
The more you think about it the more ridiculous it is and...

First to do is to order beverage - a norm as a Izakaya and seems mandatory. We ordered Japanese wagyu set, ¥8100 for each person. The serving size was too small for two - just a dozen slices. We decided to switch to all-you-can-eat menu, which is ¥11000 for each person.
Vegetables served were green and fresh. Good. First round of beet was served and well displaced. The appearance showed they were from different portion. The distribution of fat was so even - just like marble. The softness and rich-in-taste could tell these were high quality Japanese Wagyu.
PROBLEM CAME AFTER THE FIRST FEW Rounds.
Then, we order the second round. Meat was getting lean, but fatty marble still existed and the taste was good. The problem came after the 3rd round. The taste and texture of meat was not usual as before. It became MUCH MORE HARDER AND TASTELESS. Was my taste bud failed? Years of tasting quality Japanese Wagyu experience told me that these beef was mingled with low quality one. I picked up a few slices and found bloody fluid underneath the slices. What did it sugeested? The slices were not fresh and not well defrost. Why I had to pay for such low quality?
I raised my complaint. Two junior staffs insisted these slices were genuine Japanese cut. I tried to explain how bad quality was the dishes. They still gave me the same answer. Language barrier solved everything. I gave up finishing the dish as a gentle protest and the bill was checked.
The experience was too costly and...

This restaurant could get very pricey, but can be somewhat tailored to what you’re willing to spend depending on the set you get. For our party of 4, we paid around $350 CAD per person. My issue with this place is the service simply did not match up to the bill. We saw our server at the beginning during ordering, when our food was delivered, and that was it.
I understand it’s a QR code ordering system so nobody walks by unless you need to order something. Unfortunately, the function didn’t work properly for us and we couldn’t get anyone’s attention unless someone walked by slow enough. All the servers were always very rushed, and we felt like we were such a bother to ask for more soup base and a top up of our water (once).
When we were ready and asked for the bill, we sat and waited, and waited, and waited, until someone finally showed up with a machine and then quickly ran off again.
At the price point that your guests are spending at your restaurant, I would expect the service to be more refined. The food is good but I would much rather spend this significant amount of money...
